Can you use this thread to hand stitch instead of a sewing machine

Definitely! I use this as an alternative to waxed thread in leather working & in a lot of ways it's actually better as it allows finer stitching without losing the required strength. Quality wise this is way better than any haberdashery thread you can buy but it is slightly thicker
