How To Swing Trade

This book made the whole Swing Trade approach, easy and accessible. My initial desire to read this book was to try to make sense of the gobbledygook I see when I open my trade account. Sure - I know how to execute a buy or sell order - but I wanted to learn some of the other stuff. However, what Pezim does in this book is walk you through the basics of a trade and help you understand the mechanics and what’s going on underneath. He makes it easy to understand and helps push you in the direction of becoming a successful trader. I particularly like the way he assesses risk and makes this about an informed decision as opposed to “just a bet that could go either way”.Finally - Pezim makes a case for “the small guy” and illustrates how we, as retail investors, can have an advantage in the game vs all the massive corporate traders. Although this edition doesn’t address the current rise of AI, and how it would affect trading - I think the strategies may stay very similar regardless.If you’re interested in trading, and understanding how it all works - check out this book.

This is a perfect starting ground for new traders to decide if swing trading is truly for them! Super detailed, and at the same time not overly complicated. Thank you for helping me along in my trading journey; I hope more can use this invaluable tool to their advantage as well!!

Read the book in order to build my own routine and to implement a set of tools supporting each individual step. Learned a lot. Good foundation, not too complex, rather a KISS (Keep it simple and stupid) approach but covers all you need.

After my first read, I will need to go back and study sections in detail to develop a better understanding and basic proficiency. I’ve been trading for years without really any insight. This is a great book for beginners even if you’re not beginner. This book has brought to Light so much for me and it’s definitely a good read for anybody who wants to take this on even it’s just a hobby.

This is a fantastic introduction to swing and trend investing. Brian covers how to read charts (price action candles), use moving averages, support and resistance, and helpful indicators like MACD and Relative Strength Index. I am much more confident in making investments after reading this book, and then watching addition YouTube videos on the key subjects. I must also recommend watching Brian’s YouTube channel, where he reviews the markets, shows you the results of some of his trades, and tells you which stocks he is watching to trade soon.
