A great idea for streamlined plumbing.
Recently installed one of these for a washing machine in a utility room and have used machine several times without a problem. This is a very neat solution to concealing the waste pipework serving a washing machine or dishwasher in a partition leaving just the hose connection point protruding from the wall. I prefer a separate waste pipe rather than connecting to a sink waste trap which suffers from gurgling when being emptied. Also this unit is good when the waste point is not near a sink. This will just about go into a 70mm stud wall plus plasterboard both sides. Connection to waste needs to be a 40mm compression fitting as, for some reason the size is not suitable for a 40mm solvent weld. It does have an integral trap so should resist smells coming into the machine. Has a cleaning point behind the stainless steel cover. Unit is on the flimsy side but should be ok. Time will tell. This is possibly a Polish make. Pity that McAlpine don't make one to their quality standards but as far as I can see this is unique on the market at present. It is a great idea for a slick installation.

Dieses Abflussrohr ist die geniale Lösung für einbauten in Feuchtraumpanelen, da dahinter sowieso etwas Platz ist und man somit sehr leicht die neue Verrohrung verlegen kann.
