Easy and Secure
I simply got tired of moving chairs around to reach into top shelves and cupboards. We do have a step-stool, but it's mostly rusty and covered in paint. In looking over the products available, this 3-Step Folding Ladder seemed to be the most sturdy - and in fact it is, and opens and closes so easily. When you open it, however, you have to pay attention to the top step, and make sure it goes all the way back. When I used it for the first time or two, I noticed that the top step moved slightly forward and back. When I opened it and closed it a couple times, I can see that the top step needed to be secured in place - a bit more than just opening it and begin to step up. With this done, the top step is quite secure. It works great, and most importantly, you feel secure standing on the top step, and putting a star on the tree.

Nice quality step ladder
Nice quality step ladder! Looks like it will last many years. I replaced an old step ladder I had with this one. One modification I made was I cut into the hard plastic bottom feet and took them off (to protect yourself wear gloves) and replaced them with soft rubber bottom feet that were the same size. The plastic bottom feet might be great but I found when using this ladder on some softer cheaper flooring it can leave a mark/indention, so softer rubber tips are less likely to leave marks on those types of floors when in use. Overall a great stop ladder!

Easy To Use, Very Strong
I love this item! I have residual balance issues from spinal surgery, and I sometimes need to use a cane. I put this item to use within five minutes of opening up the box. It's wide enough for me to comfortably stand on it, plus it gets me high enough to change out lightbulbs in ceiling fixtures. I love the handrail at the top of the unit. I'm a big guy, and I also felt this unit was sturdy and solid. Also folds quite easily, and once folded, takes up little room. What an improvement over using folding chairs to change lightbulbs!!

Sturdy Step-Ladder
This a great step ladder. The steps are extra wide so you really feel secure as you're stepping up and down. The back is shaped so that you can also sit on the top step. It is heavier than I expected but it is a step ladder, not a step stool. It has a locking mechanism on the top step to make sure it doesn't fold up on you. Worth the money to me!

Nice ladder but too heavy
I got this ladder because I needed at home, the ladder is made good and good quality. I like it, the bad thing is that is too heavy, I stored in the garage and I need my both hands and make some strength to carry this ladder inside the house.

Impressively Strong - Great Quality Which Seems to be Diminishing These Days!
Very sturdy. Impressively Strong - Great Quality Which Seems to be Diminishing These Days! It feels like you're stepping up higher than you expect to. What I saying is we own a two step ladder and it doesn't go nearly as high, as this product does standing on the SECOND STEP. You feel more confident knowing this product can handle a minimum of 300 lbs. My wife just loves it and frankly so do I. Great workmanship. An Easy High Recommendation.

Extremely functional. Quality workmanship.
Very pleased with this choice. Extremely functional. Very sturdy and supportive. I can reach everything in my apartment with the help of this ladder. Because of my bad back and neck, I was worried that it would be too heavy for me, but it is not. I can move it around with ease. I do make sure that I grip it with both hands and carry it in front of me, because of my injuries. However, the ladder is amazingly light.

This is a very heavy ladder
I bought this ladder to clean my ceiling fans and reach top shelves. Unfortunately at 80 years of age it was too heavy for me and I couldn't even lift it, let alone move it around. It's a very well-made ladder, just too well made and heavy for me. I plan to get a two step lighter one that will be fine for my needs. This one would be better for a man doing construction type jobs. I gave it away.
