Excellent 1/2 to1/4 bushing!
I bought this to replace the piece of junk "1/2 to1/4 Anderson Metals Brass Threaded Pipe Fitting" that I ordered a week ago for $5.68. What a drastic difference with this NIGO 1/2 to 1/4 bushing for $5.89!!! This NIGO bushing is high quality with every part of it beautifully machined and perfect threads. The brass has a hefty feel to it compared to that garbage Anderson fitting. So for an extra 21 cents you can go from junk to excellent quality with this NIGO bushing.

Machined to spec as far as I can tell!
I needed a couple of these for my garage air line setup. I was connecting multiple manifolds to different attachments/couplers and found a few instances where I needed reducers.I put thread tape on all of the threads and installed them a few weeks ago. They threaded in nicely, accepted the 1/4" attachments perfectly, and made a perfect seal with no leaks. Very happy with these!

Great fit and machining
Great buy. Needed to step down from 3/4" npt to 3/8". Saved money by buying this adapter. Locally, i was going to have to buy 2 adapters to step down 2 npt sizes.

Saved my compressor
I had a leak at the tank port of a very expensive air compressor. The original hex bushing BROKE OFF in the port when I tried to remove it. Cue gnashing of teeth. I was able to re-tap, install one of these, save the compressor, no leaks, and there was much rejoicing.I would buy again.
