Advantage Dog Treatment Spray

My dogs have never had fleas in eight years. Suddenly, this summer they picked some up somewhere! This product worked well for us. Got rid of those pests and have not had another problem. I keep a can handy just in case...

Love this stuff. Since I can't get ahold of the front line spray anymore this has become an excellent, better replacement. When you have 6 dogs you need to keep their bedding and rugs flea free. And this is the stuff.

The Advantage Dog Flea Treatment Spray works okay for short-term relief, but it’s not as strong or long-lasting as I expected. It does kill some fleas on contact, and it’s easy to apply with a steady, even spray. The scent is tolerable and my dog didn’t seem too bothered by it. However, the results don’t last very long. I noticed fleas returning within a couple of days, even after following the instructions closely. It’s fine as a backup product or something to use in between regular treatments, but it’s not powerful enough to handle a moderate flea problem on its own. Overall, it’s decent but not great — works in the moment, but don’t expect long-term protection….

I have two small maltese dogs who i used this product on them both and it did absolutely nothing to help get rid of nor repel fleas. Both dogs were shaven down almost completely so i figured by the reviews this product would for sure do the trick. First I gave both dogs a bath with adams plus flea shampoo Which also didn’t rid both dogs of all fleas after carefully following instructions on bottle. Then i let dogs air dry and sprayed advantage spray on them and again followed instructions on bottle, expected this to do the trick. I anticipated finding some Dead fleas on them but Unfortunately after combing through I noticed about two Hours later both dogs still itching so i gave them another comb through and was frustrated to find very live fleas still crawling on them. Not dead or even dying these fleas were moving around unfazed and each time I attempted to remove them they’d move around quickly making it difficult to pluck them off and kill them myself. This spray dries Quickly and i was sure not to over do the amount of spray however both dogs were shaking after applying. Not sure if it was their nerves or something in the spray which caused this. It also smelled funny and spray nozzle sprays wide causing spray to be hard to spray around their head and ears without lots of it being wasted into the air.

Lol I put dog review on the cat spray. I give it a thumbs up too. So my dog been chewing his but so bad and the dog is super sensitive to anything you put on him or he eats. He had NO allergies of any kind. I sprayed him outside, smell is super strong ,it is a pesticide. After I sprayed him he took off running in the yard so happy , like mom you did it the bugs are gone. We have been trying everything to kill these super mutated monster fleas. This works . Dog is so much happier . We are too, not having to here him chew his butt all the time. Thumbs up , buy it if you are under attack with these monster fleas. The cat & dog are flea free , I will spray them again in 7 days like can said to do.
