Great overview of space medicine
Clément is quite readable and the depth of his experience shows in the material, particularly when discussing examples of on-orbit experiments the author himself led or participated in. This is a great introductory text that outlines the major physiological systems, how they are affected by spaceflight, the current state of knowledge on these effects, and countermeasures or treatments.
