I opened this chandelier as soon as it arrived and all seemed well, however once it was installed the slight defect became noticeable. The top bar was slanted which meant the chandelier is slightly crooked. I called Ashley furniture immediately since Amazon directs product defects to be handled directly with Ashley's. I was put on hold for about 45 mins and then finally was able to explain the situation to a representative who collected all of my information and I was told someone would get back to me. About 5 weeks later I received a call from Ashley's. The rep asked me to send a copy of the Amazon invoice and provide a description of the problem. She confirmed she had received the information she needed and would be submitting a claim for a new chandelier to be sent to me. It is 4 months later and I have not received a new chandelier or any communication from Ashley's. Now it seems I am stuck with a crooked chandelier.
