Looks nice!
Very pleased with this calendar holder. Gives a nicer look for those that still enjoy having a paper calendar to keep track of dates.

Such an addition for my Lang calendar...
Not tech savvy, so I did not know how to send a photo or video, however I can say the Lang Oak wall calendar frame is beautiful. The frame adds so much to the calendar and makes a great wall accent. I did not hang my frame, I propped it on top of a picnic basket against a wall in my den. Added so much to my den. Would purchase again. *Two notes: The frame was well wrapped in plastic and corners were well protected, but there was no packing inside the delivery box to keep the frame from slamming around in the box. My frame was in perfect shape...so no real complaints there. The slot for hanging the frame could allow the nail to push up against the calendar, so I opted to rest my calendar frame on the picnic basket and I was well pleased. Frame was well made.

Sufficient Practicality
This is a good quality frame, but I was disappointed in the color of the oak finish. It is a lighter color than I like. Not sure if the slit on the back can be used to hang the frame as there were no instructions. Not the same color as my original frame purchased from the Lang Company years ago.

Just buy it!
Should have bought this ten years ago! I've been so hesitant to commit to a frame due to reviews about a hassle with changing months. Well, I've recently changed it from Nov to Dec, and it took about two seconds. Pulled calendar up and out, flipped page, dropped it back inside the holder, done. Didn't even need to take frame off the wall. The frame perfectly fits the calendar, it holds the calendar upright, no sagging, even on Dec, the last month of the year when the calendar has 11 months on the top side of the center crease. It was also a snap to hang the holder on wall when I got it. Put in a small nail, and hung the calendar frame on it. Bam. Seems to be secure.I always buy Lang calendars as they are hands down the best I've ever had, so I haven't tried fooling around with using some other brand of calendar with the frame. There seems to be about a zillion different Lang calendars available so I would think a person could find one they love. The calendar in the frame looks so clean and polished, it inspired me to finally clean up the adjacent bulletin board on my kitchen wall, too. Now the whole area looks so much nicer. If you've been on the fence like me, I recommend that you buy the frame, I think you will be glad you did.I got the vintage red. It's a lovely dark brownish red, like a barn, not a bright primary red like a stop sign. I'm using the Lang "Roosters" calendar, and it looks perfect.Shipping was fast, frame extremely well packed, no dents or dings.

Took a risk & Im glad
It looks great! I was a little leery about buying this without knowing what size of calendar would fit in it.It holds 13.375”w x 24”h perfectly. Also, it has a horizontal notch for hanging.

... in a wood tone some years ago and they love it. It makes the already beautiful Lang calendars ...
I bought my parents one of these in a wood tone some years ago and they love it. It makes the already beautiful Lang calendars look even more like wall art. So I decided I wanted to get one for myself. But I have been completely disappointed for two reasons. The actual quality of the wood working seems to have deteriorated in the years since I bought the frame for my parents. AND Amazon seems to be completely unable to take customer advice about packaging. Their only concern seems to be how fast they can get an item to you. The first frame I bought, arrived smashed and broken at one corner. This was due to the fact that the box it was shipped in was much bigger than the frame and there was no cushioning inside the box to prevent the frame from bumping around. (There was no damage to the box itself, just to the contents.) Customer service was apologetic, quickly refunded my money, asked me to return the broken frame and said that they would ship a new frame to me immediately. I specifically asked the representative if the "packaging department" would receive feedback that this particular item needed cushioning in order to arrive intact. I other words, I was more interested in receiving the frame unbroken than in receiving a replacement within 2 days. My concern was well founded. The replacement frame also arrived smashed and separated at one corner because there was still no cushioning inside the large box. Customer service quickly sent a THIRD frame. Again, no cushioning in the box. This frame arrived without any smashed corners, but the wood workmanship was terrible. There was a very visible circular plug in the front surface of the frame and a long uneven dip in another part of the front surface. At that point I gave up. That third frame sits unused in its box in the garage. And I continue to be super disappointed that I was unable to get a frame like the one I bought my parents some years ago. Bottom line, I would never bother trying to purchase this item from Amazon. From my experience, your chances of getting a usable frame seem to be very low.
