Helpful hint. All dip pen nibs are coated in a protective coating at manufacture. This can be removed in lots of ways. Personally I use 'zest it' pen and nib cleaner. It's easy and works on all nibs every time. You put the nib in the pot, wait 10 to 20 mins. Remove nib from pot and wash well in soapy water. Lastly once the nib is mounted in holder I wipe with rubbing alcohol, the nib that is, 😀 hope this helps,

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This nib is very useful, when it's dipped into the ink it holds the ink very well. Usually with other nibs I can't even finish the third letter but with this nib I managed to write 11 letter word Calligraphy with just one dip. Also is beginner friendly, which allows more flexibility.

Excellent nib, better than my last one and quite smooth too. (Just don’t forget to clean your nibs before your first use)
