Review: Simple, efficient, attractive, and easy to use. - This was bought to upgrade a Presonus AudioBox USB that I got in 2013, which still works perfectly as intended, but is no longer sufficient for my needs. This unit covered every upgrade I needed for that system. There were not many of these available but I knew it was what I wanted. If you can't find one in stock at a fair price, any Presonus unit in the same range should be equally sufficient, but cost may vary greatly. Recording and playback are equally impressive. It is used for guitar, bass, and vocals, and does so quite well. It has been used now for several months and works as perfectly as it did on day one. It's a good size. Not too big or small and it easily fits into tighter spaces. No external power is needed as it runs off of the USB connection. It is very much a plug-and-play unit, simple and efficient. My only complaint on the whole interface, just like the box I replaced, is that there is no front option for the headphones. I hate that all of my headphone cables are permanently bent from always having to run them to the rear of these units. Even with that complaint, I give it 5 stars for what it is. The only reason to rate it lower would be if I was comparing it to larger, more powerful units.
Review: Easy to set up and sounds phenomenal - I bought this so that I could record my Behringer Neutron synthesizer in my DAW. I had never done anything like this before so I was a little hesitant on what brand and model to get. I settled on the 24c and it has everything I will need for a long while, including Midi Ports on the back. The comparable Scarlett model does not and is slightly more expensive. Once I installed the universal control and plugged it in, it was ready for use and I was able to record within 5 min. Plus, although I did not need it, it came with Studio One Artist, Ableton Live Lite, Music Loops, VST plugins and more. It really is a great deal!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: how stable are the asio drivers, latency, etc?**
A: I have found the ASIO driver to be very stable. After the initial setup and a few tweaks of parameters I haven't had any issues with instability or fluctuations in latency or other metrics. I have been using the 62c for almost 2 months with no issues at all. Very nice unit.

**Q: The 24c headphone amp could not drive my 250 ohm dt770s. will any of them actually drive them well? i am considering the 26c or 68c.**
A: Hi, The 24c is bus powered, the specs say 83 dB dynamic range on headphone output 47 mW per channel. The 68c is 107 dB and 150mW per channel. The 26c is 104 dB but only 30 mW per channel (which admittedly is a little odd.) We hope this helps!

**Q: On the studio 68c would i use both channels for a left and right with a sm7b or is there a mono option on 1st input? pushes all other usb audio 192hz?**
A: Yes

**Q: Which of the Studio models, if any, can actually drive 250 ohm headphones? The 24c, sadly, did not.**
A: Not sure you are going to find a USB interface that will work those. Those are a very narrow use case style of headphones. I know that are marginally better for listening due to the damping effect.
However, for recording and mixing a better choose would be a reference (flat EQ) design like the Sony MDRV6 headphones.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to set up and sounds phenomenal

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great on my M1 MacBook Pro
*by S***R on February 19, 2021*

Very nice interface. Like the metering display on the front. The knobs on the right are a bit cluttered for me, though, and I'd prefer a headphone jack on the front. Sound quality is excellent - the same or MAYBE slightly better than my Scarlett 2i2 3rd gen. Best of all, it works GREAT on my M1 Silicon MacBook Pro! Here's my use case in case you're curious: From the PreSonus website I downloaded and installed the Universal Control v3.4.1.63149 for macOS software (not sure if that was needed, but didn't hurt.) Hooked up the PreSonus to my M1 MacBook Pro using a StarTech USB-C Cable (TBLT3MM2M) - didn't try the cable included in the box. Ran a line out Y cable from my cassette player to the two inputs on the PreSonus. Then used Audacity on the Mac to record - worked perfectly! Was able to rip a cassette to .WAV file. Sounds amazing. Not sure on other use cases, but that's what worked for me. Although ultimately I prefer the more simple interface of the Scarlett, if I walked into a room and was told I had to use this PreSonus with the M1 MacBook Pro I'd feel confident and excited about it. Enjoy!
