Excellent thread will buy again
This is an excellent product for your surgery. It is not shred or lent. I will certainly buy it again. It’s 3 to 5000 yards per school depending on what you order and for surging garments pillowcases crafts you can’t be the price.

Good Product, Great Price
Purchased a set of five 6000-yard spools of 40-weight 2-ply polyester thread in black, white, and three neutral colors. I've done occasional machine sewing for 30 years, but know little about the craft. Since purchasing this thread, I've sewed several hundred feet in face masks and dust covers for antique radios with good results and no problems. The thread comes on conical spools, which I believe are for a serger (I haven't got a clue what a serger is. I don't even know if serging is legal in Idaho!) Other reviewers noted that these spools do work on a standard machine even though they're wobbly. I chose to make a simple spool adapator from an empty standard thread spool. As shown in the photo, I ground off the flange from one end of the spool, then inserted it the bottom of the serger spool. It fits snugly and can easily be removed and reused with a different serger spool. Some reviewers commented on lint from the thread. I took a photo comparing the Mandala thread (bottom in photo) to 20-year-old Coates & Clark Dual Duty Cotton-Polyester (top in photo). Photo was taken after the products were threaded through a standard machine and pulled through a universal 90/14 needle. The cotton covering of the Mandala thread is not as tightly bound as the old Coates & Clark. So, maybe it's not the best quality, but for my sewing it doesn't make a difference.Others have commented that some spools seem less-filled than others. I found this to be the case, and estimated the discrepancy by weighing the spools. My five spools varied by less than 10 percent. Although some would assume this indicates a shortage, one could just as easily assume than the smallest spool was a full 6,000 yards and the others had extra thread. In either case, the product is so inexpensive that this issue merits little consideration.I'm perfectly happy with my purchase. For my purposes, this will be more than a lifetime supply, and I would buy it again if Amazon delivers to heaven.

Good quality at a reasonable price.
Nice thread, runs smoothly through my serger with no thread breaks. I will definitely buy this brand again.

Can't beat the value of this Mandala serger thread!...and YES, threads DO cause lint! UPDATE 04/2021
UPDATE:April 2021BE CAREFUL WHEN ORDERING THIS SET OF FOUR OFF AMAZON:I just ordered a set of FOUR 40s/2 in Turquoise off Amazon in the 6000 yards cones, but received ONE small cone of maybe 2000 yards (see photo)....it isn't even labeled like Mandala Crafts usually are. It's just a generic sticker and doesn't look like any product Mandala Crafts sells at their own web site.Original Review (still applies):I've been sewing for over 35 years and mostly on Husqvarna Viking machines. I've tried a lot of different brands of thread over the years.Despite what some seem to 'incorrectly' think, threads, in general, DO cause lint in sewing machines! Fabrics, especially natural fiber like cotton and wool can contribute to minimal lint in a sewing machine, but thread is THE primary culprit since it is located in both the upper area of the machine AND the bobbin, while moving continuously through the machine creating static that helps the lint cling to the inside, and outside of the machine.I recently purchased a set of four coral and of navy blue Mandala serger cone threads and I'm really impressed with the quality. I would even consider using this thread as regular sewing machine thread using my external thread stand for cones. The thread seams to be quite good quality compared to some of my other serger thread brands, like MaxiLock and a few 'no-name' brands I've used that work fine in the serger with four thread cones, but I wouldn't use in single-thread sewing. One thing I would like to mention about the Mandala coral color thread...be prepared...on the cone it's a bit closer to an orange vs a pinky-orange coral. That said, when sewn, the color should look closer to coral and blend in fine. I've attached two photos of each color, Coral #107 and Navy #319. The photo on the left of each is with no flash....the photo on the right of each is using a flash.

I BOUGHT ONE SPOOL OF MULTICOLORED THREAD AT MY FABRIC STORE - $9. I HAVE USED IT ANDSWASWLOVED THE RESULTS BUT HAVE BEEN HOARDING IT. WHEN I SAW THIS PRODUCT - 4 SPOOLS FOR$12. I ORDERED IT RIGHT AWAY. NOW I CAN BE EXTRAVAGANT WITH MY SUPPLY.. I HAVE USED THISTHRAD TO SEW A DECOATIVE STITCH AROUND THE BORDER OF REVERSABLE FLANNEL BAABY BLANKETS, A SILKY WHITE TUNIC, A FELTED WOOL JACKET. AM MAKING A SAMPLE SWATCH OF THE DIFFERENT STITCH DESIGNS I HAVE ON MY MACHINE FOR FUTURE PROJECTS.

Perfect color match
This thread works perfectly in my serger, no knots or kinks in the line (so no breakage) which I sometimes get even with Gutterman threads. The giant spools fit fine on my Brother 1034D serger and an excellent dollar value. The color is exactly as described and as pictured in the ad. Coral is a difficult color to buy on line, many are either pink or orange and I'm shocked that this coral is an Exact match for the huge stash of beautiful coral knit fabric I discovered when doing my sewing room overhaul.I see the name Mandala Crafts a lot on Amazon and now I'll trust the name after this proof of quality.

Misleading description
First time bought was very good. However when I purchased it again, a different item was sent. It was less than half the amount of thread, and without packaging.

YELLOW! Not mellow!
A way brighter yellow serger thread than the pale butter one my local store sells. AWESOME

Very high quality
I’m very impressed with this cotton but it is too big for your average serger machine. The reels are huge. They would not stand next to each other , so I had to use a small reel of cotton in similar colour to second spool . As these are far to big to go next to each other. It’s a little thicker than most cottons and severs beautifully.

Serger thread
Totally not what I expected. Thread was too thick, my serger did not work with it very well as I was using it for delicate sheer fabric and satin. spools were huge.. waste of my money
