71 y.o. who was getting sore - specifically the 2 U-shaped bones located at the bottom of the pelvis, acting as the bony support for the body while sitting. They are part of the ischium bone, which is one of the three components of the hip bone. This pillow/seat has been a real blessing due to the two holes in the seat to relieve pressure in that area. The pillow does squash down a bit due to weight of the body (and I'm a skinny guy) but it does not affect effectiveness. Yes, it is more expensive - roughly 2x more the cheapy ones- but WELL WORTH it. Quality matters.

This cushion has greatly improved my quality of life. I can once again sit, drive, and generally get through the day with much less pain. I wish I had found this cushion sooner as it would have saved me a lot of pain and maybe even resulted in a better recovery. Prior to this, I tried more than a dozen cushions during the span of a year. Sitting continued to result in painful flare-ups with all of them. I consulted doctors and physical therapists but they offered nothing except drugs and suggested nerve blocks. I was desperate to give my body a chance to recover so the search for a way to get pressure off the nerve continued. I was hesitant about the cost of this cushion but it's worth it. The comfort was instant. The holes are in the perfect place to take pressure off nerves. And, the holes are big enough they should work well for a variety of body types. This is now the only cushion I need and I use it everywhere. This cushion is on the thicker side for driving. I'm petite so I can handle the height boost this provides in the car. It's worth it to be able to drive without enduring serious flare-ups. As for sitting at a desk or in any other situation, this cushion is perfect. Excellent materials and construction. No toxic chemical odors like some of the cheaper pillows I tried. I've now used it for months and it's still supportive and like new. With good care this cushion will last a long time. Please never change the design or high quality. Thank you for making this cushion as it has given me a chance to regain my life.

The is tge absolute best cushion out there for sit bone pain, i have one in every car now , trust me this kne is worth the price and offers full relief in a short time using it the oain is all gone

I’m going to give this thing a 4 because it’s not perfect. The pad is very well made, durable, and a pretty good combo of comfort and ruggedness. I find however, that I am constantly moving around on it to find the most comfortable position. It seems like the holes don’t fit me precisely but it’s better than anything else I’ve found and it’s become rather indispensable.

I am currently challenged by a proximal hamstring tendinopathy from sliding 5x while walking the dog in the ice for 3 wks this winter. Unfortunately it became chronic after some long car rides- I’m fine walking- I can’t sit for prolonged periods of time!! I’m going to Ireland in a month and I need to be able to sit comfortably more than 15 min! I used tonight during Bible Study as well as to/from in car and I went from an annoying ache in my bottom to NO PAIN! I am a home care physical therapist- I will DEFINITELY be recommending this cushion to my patients with similar pan complaints during sitting. Complete GAME CHANGER! Thank you Aylio!!

I have had this seat cushion for years and am very happy with the quality and function of it! My "sits bones" get sore and this helps since I usually drive over 400 miles every week in currently an F-150 Ford truck. Also, since I like sitting higher in the truck to see out over - it helps with that issue too. It may seem like a high price, but it's excellent quality and is worth the money!

Sit Bone Protection: 5 stars Quality: 5 stars Overall Comfort: 2 stars. Comfort comes from where it does NOT touch you, not from where it does! Cost: 2 stars. Would be 5, if it actually had cushioning for the parts that make contact with your body. --------------------------------------------------------- My spouse has been seriously ill, and has lost fat and muscle to where he has no built-in padding, ANYWHERE, anymore. Sitting in his home office chair has been especially painful for him. We've spent hundreds, and this is the first cushion that actually helped, thanks to the deep "sit bone" cutouts. Unfortunately, the term "cushion" is to be used lightly, as it is VERY - as in TOO - firm. For a hundred dollars, I will say this appears to be well-constructed and built to last. And it really is fantastic at eliminating sit bone pain. BUT, they neglected to add a layer of softness on top. I have MORE than ample padding on my rump, and *I* find it too firm to be comfortable. So while it absolutely eliminates his sit bone pain, which IS huge, he still actively UNCOMFORTABLE. This is crushingly disappointing, given all he's going through, especially for the premium price. You can buy a whole CHAIR for $100. I'm debating picking up an ugly "egg crate"-style wheelchair foam pad, and cutting holes over the corresponding "sit bone" cutouts in this cushion. It's both ridiculous and frustrating that I have to spend extra time and money, possibly in vain, to make a hundred dollar seat "cushion" ACTUALLY comfortable. I hope they revisit the design and can add a softer, top layer to it. In the meantime, it's at least preventing pressure sores and eliminating pain, even if it otherwise causes a measure of discomfort.

Very expensive but worth every penny if you have a sitting bone pain problem.

I was diagnosed with piriformis syndrome and I felt very painful over the bottom of my buttocks at the end of the day after hours of sitting. I also got some tingling sensation and sciatic like pain in my left foot. I bought so many different cushions and I did not find help from them. Finally, I typed "cushion for piriformis syndrome" in amazon webisite and this cushion came up and I found this the most expensive. However, when I checked the measurements, this one fits with my body size. I am 166 cm tall and my BMI is around 19 and so I am pretty thin. When I first received it, since the day one, I found it very helpful and it reduced a lot of pain from my buttocks. Hence, even though it is expensive, I decided to buy another one. One for my office and one for my home. I will definitely recommend anyone with sit bone pain to use this cushion. I attached the photo on mine with my office chair.

Schade, dass es nirgendwo in Europa einen ähnlichen guten Kissen gibt (die wenig Kissen, die es hier gibt, haben Löcher, die nicht groß genug und genug weit auseinandern sind) und zum Glück gibt es diesen Kissen, aber man muss denen aus den USA bestellen. Habe ich gemacht und freue mich jeden Tag, dass ich es gekauft habe. Der Kissen ist schön weich (für jemand der um herum 60kg wiegt), aber nicht soviel, dass die Sitzbeinhöcker den Stuhlbereich berühren, wenn drauf sitzt).

This is a medical grade device that costs more than cheap cushions, but it works extremely well. I would purchase this again if it was lost or damaged. The owners even wrote me a personal note offering assistance if needed.
