SoBuy Kitchen Island on Wheels with Extendable Worktop & Adjustable Shelves

We get a lot of compliments on this and matches our grey cabinet kitchen every well. Useful extra worktop and storage in a small kitchen diner. Very good buy for the price. Would recommend.

Lots of pieces and the instructions look very complicated and overbearing but taken step by step it is very easy to assemble, I would leave fitting the drawer runners till you have assembled the drawers as it’s easy to put them on the wrong way round, also the wooden dowels aren’t a very tight fit and so long as you don’t want to take it apart again I would put some would glue on them, and also round the bottom panel of the drawers and the supports that hold the 3 back panels in, one word of warning it would be easy to over balance it with the extension out, unless there is a fair amount of weight in the cupboards (which I’m sure there will be in mine 😂 overall I think it’s a great product for the money

The finished product is solid, looks great and is much better than I expected. the initial delivery went missing, the seller offered either a refund or replacement, we opted for the replacement. It arrived 4 days later in two boxes which are heavy, one of these was damaged, but the packaging protected all the materials in the boxes. It took about 3 hours to get the structure of the kitchen unit built and a further 2 hours to complete doors, shelves and drawers. Both boxes had a copy of the instructions which proved useful, I used one as reference for parts and the other as instructions. There are a lot of parts so best to lay them out, All wooden parts have number stickers on them, screws(etc) are in lettered bags. We had no missing parts and a few spares (yippee) The instructions initially appear daunting, but they are easy to follow if you stick to the sequence laid out and take a thorough look at the diagrams(which are small) to get all parts(dowels/screws) and orientation. It helps to have someone to hold bits when being screwed etc. In the past I have had some bad experiences with flat packed furniture, not this product it went together well, is solid, looks great and has exceeded my expectations. I have scored it 4 stars due to initial delivery issues which might be harse.

Bought this to fill gap after getting rid of table and bench seat as needed more storage space. Really love this, fits in perfectly and can be moved around easily if needed. Great quality. Fairly easy to assemble - good instructions.

For the money, this is a great product. Flat packed it took me a good couple of hours to assemble. One thing to remember is decide if you want the side towel rail fitted or not because if you change your mind later you cannot get to the back screws after assembly. There are also no 'blanking' plugs for the holes which even if you do fit the rail the other end needs them. Drawers and cupboards are a great asset as there is plenty of room for storage of anything. The wheels make it easily moveable and are not seen. They don't retract. All together a good quality product for the price and really looks good and matches the rest of the kitchen well. UPDATE: Since buying, I have removed the top complete and replaced it with a piece of oak worktop to match the rest of the kitchen. I got it precut about about 15 inches longer either end and it now doesn't drop down. Looks brilliant. Also makes it more stable although it was ok before.

This looks great in my kitchen and perfect for those needing extra storage. I do not usually write reviews but my partner asked me to for this item. He said he has put together lots of flat packed furniture in the past and this was by far the easiest and best experience. Packaged really well, all pieces labelled and instructions very clear and easy to follow. Would recommend

Delivery was earlier than forecast which was great. To make folks aware, arrived in two packages (very well packed so plenty of cardboard etc to dispose of), they were quite heavy, so might need two people to carry. Took two of us around 2 and 1\2 hours to assemble as was suggested in instructions - the instructions were easy to follow. As the pictures show the furniture looks fantastic. The wood worktop is really lovely. We decided to not bother with castors and between us it was easy to manoeuvre into position. For a self assembly item it is exceptionally good value for the money paid 😊👍

Purchased this to use whilst our old kitchen is being ripped out and replaced. The assembly instructions are not the best and it took two of us about 6 hours to put together. But it was worth the effort, it looks really nice. It's reasonably sturdy although I'm not sure how long it would stand up to every day use. However, for the money paid and the purpose it was purchased for we are very pleased with it. I would consider buying other items from Sobuy. Update over 2 years on. We painted this the same colour as the new kitchen we had fitted and move it into our kitchen/lounge when we have guests over. It's still going strong and looking good and has stood up to a lot of use surprisingly well. So glad we bought it... and decided to keep it after the kitchen refit. Update to this review. Over 3 years later, this is still going strong. This island has been stood up to the same daily traffic as the rest of the kitchen. Still looks great.

Non so quanto sia facile da montare perché non me ne sono occupata io, però ho visto che mio marito ci ha messo circa 3 ore e, anche se deve ancora montare le portelle, non mi sembra tantissimo tempo. Invece io ho apprezzato molto la robustezza del mobile, che è veramente bello. Ci tengo a dirlo perché qua e là ho letto delle recensioni che dicevano che era poco robusto se non debole. Non è affatto vero. È robusto e stabile. Intendo utilizzarlo per allungare il muretto divisorio tra la cucina e la zona pranzo e living. Appena si entra in casa, c'è un grande salone di circa 80 mq in rettangolare, con divani e tavolo pranzo, tv ,stufa a legna , diviso da un muretto dalla zona cucina vera e propria. Nel tempo si sono accumulati molti elettrodomestici sul muretto, tipo microonde, impastatrice ecc. E mi serviva più spazio, anche per pentole e piatti vari. Trovo ottima la soluzione con le ruote, così da poterlo spostare secondo necessità. Speriamo bene per l'inox, che non è il mio preferito, magari meglio altro legno, in altra tonalità, come già fatto nella versione chiara. Nel complesso sono molto contenta della mia scelta.

Good quality! A bit unstable with wheels. Didn’t use them so then it was really stable. The transport/post was really bad. The parcel was damaged. Luck was on our side nothing was damaged inside.
