This fit me well for a 1920s dance costume. The details and fringe are front and back and it has a little bit of sparkle form some rhinestones in the center of each petal. Some of the flower petals on ones we ordered would need to be tacked down a little, but for the price it has a lot of detail and work! We tried both black and red and the black looked classier. My daughter dubbed the red "costume red" but I liked it. The red was also a bit more sparkly as the rhinestones were clear and sparkly. The black has a subtle sparkle.The M is maybe the tiniest bit loose on top on me (I'm a 32D), but it doesn't show with all the details. The dress is stretchy so it does accommodate some differences in size and shape. The details smooth out my figure a bit :), and it's not too scratchy under the arms like some of the sequin dresses we tried on. The S was way too short and tight for me to be comfortable dancing in; the M with the looser fit also looked better on me. (5'2" 125 lbs. 32D). Flapper dresses aren't supposed to be form fitting! But the M still almost is. This style didn't fit my teen daughter (5'8" 140 lbs 34A) as she needed the M for length and it was way too big in the bust for her.

I LOVE....THIS...DRESS!!!! I am writing a review because it was a review and photo that helped me make the decision to purchase this dress. OMG!!!! The dress was even better than I expected. It does not feel like a costume. It looks exactly the way you see it. The fringes go completely around the dress at an angle which proved to be extremely flattering! The beaded details are well anchored to the dress. THE FRINGES DANCE PERFECTLY WITH MOVEMENT!!!! The dress is light, soft and comfortable, but a little on the thin side, so I highly recommend wearing a body shaper underneath (boy shorts style) to ensure invisibility of undergarments. The dress fit well below my butt, and the inlay was about 4 inches above the knee, but the fringe tips (where you see the longest pointed ends in the photo) touched the knee. I am 5'8 and DDD breast. I purchased a 3X and the fit was perfect. The dress has some stretch, but remember, the more it has to stretch across, the less length you will have. I highly recommend this dress.

I bought this in black, and agonized over the reviews and sizing chart before settling on my size. For reference, I am 5'6" and 120 pounds with a smallish frame, and I bought the XS/S. It fits flawlessly over the bust and hangs well, skimming gently over my hips. It is cut like a perfect flapper dress, allowing just a hint of curves. I love the flower detail on the bust, the asymmetry of the fringe, and the overall cut of the dress. It has just the tiniest bit of stretch so it's a little forgiving. It's shorter than I expected, so be careful sitting down or getting out of the car in it, but it's a pretty classic cut for a flapper dress.I bought this for a friend's 20s-themed party, and I'm really looking forward to wearing it. My only beef is that there is no size tag so you really have to look at the dress to determine front from back, and there were a few thin plastic slivers sticking through the material from the beaded appliques. I'm not sure how well this dress will hold up over time, but it works for the party and if I get a few more uses out of it, bonus!

The first one I ordered was miss made. The under dress was crooked and half of it fit well, while the other half was twisted and cupped right at the bottom of my butt cheek. The bust was too tight. I ordered another dress in a larger size that although it was made correctly, it just wasn't large enough in the bust area. This dress is made for a woman with small breast. Seller promptly refunded my money.

This is a great dress....fun and easy to wear, stretches a bit so it fits, and is nicely made. My only problem with this dress and one previously ordered from Pretty Guide, is that their sizing is not accurate for Americans nor for the size charts on Amazon. I am 5'7" and usually wear and XL or 16-18; the first dress was a 2XL but would had been about a size 10-12 US. This one is a 3XL and fits, but that's surely not my usual size...it was just the biggest they had! It's snug but ok....I think, given other comments about Pretty Guide dresses, that the individual dresses may not be sized accurately, nor do the sizes adhere to the typical or advertised sizes. The dresses are stylish, nicely made, have some lovely handwork...but the sizing needs to be standardized.

Overall, the dress is adorable....very cute!! However, the sizing was just awful. I ordered a small dress -- I am normally a size small in most clothes and often do not have issues with clothes being "true to size" etc. When I put this dress on, there is easily 3 inches of excess fabric on EACH side of the dress... I was planning on wearing to a Gatsby themed work Christmas party on 12/12 but unfortunately, the dress is way too big to be appropriate. If I had time, I would have gotten it tailored as I think it would be worth it given the great price paid on the dress. Buyers beware that the sizing on this item is by far no where near close to where it should be. Not sure if this is an issue since the product is coming from China (I also did not know it was from China at time of purchase only to find it on the packaging in the mail upon receipt) or what the issue is --- give yourself time if you are planning on wearing it to an event.

I purchased this dress to wear to a Gatsby themed party in October 2017 so of course it's not time to debut my beautiful dress but I have tried it on and it fits great! I did order 2 sizes up from what I normally wear because from past experience I've learned that when shopping online with certain sellers the sizes run smaller so this time I ordered 2 sizes up just to see and WOW it worked this time. To be honest though this dress fits well because it has some stretch to it! I wish all clothing manufacturers adopted this when making dresses because some women actually have curves like I do and often need a little more space in our clothing and plus I believe that with more spandex installed it just helps the item fit more comfortably.
