Larger than expected. Sturdy
The mini puzzles are larger than expected. My 2.5 yr old loves them. They were fairly easy for him. He enjoys the dinasour puzzle! The textures pieces add a little extra for the child to learn. Pieces are thick, so they do not easily bend and large to find when they fall on the floor. The piece fit together without too much pressure which I find great for my impatient toddler. I will definitely be buying more from this brand.

Nice over all, as pictured.
Cute puzzle. The little feely-touchy parts are nice. Some of them have spiky parts which I could imagine would go blunt with usage. The only irritating thing in the beginning was that one piece of the squirrel is actually worked into the lid of the box. Where you see the acorn, there is a hole in the box so you get a sense of the feely-touchy part. That puzzle part is actually stuck to the inside of the lid with a plastic cover. So to get that part out, you have to break that plastic part, inevitably ripping some paper off from the inside of the lid. If you are picky about those kind of things, I would not recommend getting this. In fact, I first thought a part was missing and when I received the box, it was obviously opened before (seal was open), so I am guessing I was no the only one hesitant to rip that last piece out of the cover...

These are one of her very favorite things to play with
I bought these for my daughter's second birthday. She was a little frustrated the first few times she tried to put them together, but she has them mastered now and looooves them. These are one of her very favorite things to play with. She loves building her puzzles over & over again and plays with them multiple times a day. They are great quality and so adorable. I will definitely be buying more Mudpuppy puzzles and other products. I definitely recommend!

Cute puzzle, not the best box
Very cute puzzle! Big, thick pieces that lock well together. My only complaints are that the box is a little tough to open up, but that could loosen up over time. The other thing is that one of the touch-and-feel pieces is in a plastic cover attached to the lid of the box (so you can feel it through the opening - it’s the acorn the squirrel is holding). The plastic cover was glued too well to the lid so part of the lid got torn up when I got it off. Not a big deal, but it was frustrating to me.Overall, the puzzle is adorable and a good quality, and that’s what matters.

A great beginner puzzle for 2-3 year olds
Perfect puzzle for my two year olds. It's sturdy, it has various tactiles to discuss sensations (rough, smooth, fluffy) and it's a great beginner puzzle to teach them the basics on how puzzles work without causing too much frustration. A confidence builder and a great jumping off point from chunky block puzzles. Plus, it's a puzzle that attracts the eye of my kids.

Not Sturdy and Not Worth The Money
I expected this puzzle to have sturdier pieces and that they would stay together somewhat. This frustrated my twin two year olds because they’d connect the three pieces and it would all fall apart. Not worth the money at all.

Perfect for 18m+
This is just what I wanted. My kid is getting bored with the puzzles where each shape has a separate spot, with a picture of what goes there. I bought a 12pc puzzle and that was too much at 18mo. Three pieces each she can do on her own.

cute faces
not overwhelming or too complicated, just enough pieces to make it interesting for my 19 month old granddaughter to be able to put it together
