Why waste time with others get these.
What an excellent product. The zipper went on my expensive works trousers and was i was gutted thinking about getting a new pair. I thought about taking them to a clothes menders but wasn’t sure of the cost or how long they would take to fix. I remember seeing an ad for fixing zips and after reading the reviews on this and other ones and watch vids I I went for these ones. What an excellent choice these are simple to attach and so far work very well. Ordered them Sunday morning and had them delivered at 9pm the same day. I am glad that I brought the set of 3 as the small ones I was going to get didn’t fit and it is excellent value for money.

Quality easy to fit zip which closes with a surety that you will appreciate.
I was looking for a replacement zip for my settee and previously I have used the kits which had some success but as you closed the zip they may not be enough to close the zipper or so much that the zipper would break. I saw mixed reviews of these but thought I would give it a go, especially as I saw made in Germany! They arrived and I matched the smallest which was super simple to fit and after a quick trial was not tight enough to close the zip. A little turn of the nurl and it was closed the sip but felt strong with a quality feel. So although not cheap, it mended an expensive problem and left me with two spare. If you can get the same zips individually if you know the size this may be a better way forward. Fully recommended.

Doesn't work on all zips
Clever idea and useful but does not work on my waterproof zip on golf bag. However it may be that the zip is defected.

Product not as advertised.
The zippers work fine, however the pullers are not as advertised: they are cheap, fiddly, ugly bits that are nothing like the nice metal, readonably-sized pullers visible in the images on the Amazon page. Disappointed and unprofessional not to deliver what is advertised - and still having to pay a hefty price for the product anyway. Shame on you.

Not guaranteed to work.
Varying success. Used the middle one on a fleece hoodie, perfect. Used the large one on a coat, doesn't work. I had to loosen it to insert the other side, but then it didn't lock the teeth when zipping up. If I tightened it up, the teeth locked. However, when opening the zip, I couldn't separate it at the bottom because it was too tight. So, each time I wanted to fasten my coat, loosen the zip, insert, then tighten it, which was always trial and error.

Medium Works with rip curl flash bomb wetsuits (slider salmo size 8)
Successfully fitted a medium to a ripcurl flashbomb. (Come with Size 8 slider originally - Salmo?). Large is too big for these wetsuits. Its possible to remove the old metal slider with a pair of wire cutters, leaving the stopper intact. Hack off the sides of the slider (wear eye protection, be careful if trying this). Or else cut off the stopper and be careful when zipping up and down. You can also just leave the original slider on the wetsuit and it'll likely stay reasonably watertight anyway. Takes a bit of fiddling to get it to engage a ripcurl nylon zip but a medium definitely works. Make sure to fully tighten down the screw or else it won't engage properly.

Very happy
I ordered these to repair a broken zip on my leather sofa to try and avoid an expensive repair bill. They are a bit fiddly, however patience and perseverance paid off. The sofa is repaired, fingers crossed it stays that way, but initial impressions are very good .

These zippers are junk, I received the 3 sizes as u was unsure which one I would use. I was going to repair a zipper on an awning bag where the slider had fallen off. The small size was almost perfect, but if you over tighten the set screw the slider wouldn’t slide, under tighten and the slider would fall off. The medium size slid good but wouldn’t attach the zipper together. On top of all of this, the pull handle on the slider broke off the small and medium on the first pull. The idea of the zipper fix was a good thought but this product needs some redesigning, if you look carefully at the photos the pull on the zipper is on the wrong side when trying to close the zipper and it causes it to bind. Save your money and take your stuff to an alteration shop and get it fixed there, it cost $20 more than this junk.

We brought these zipper pull replacements on our camping trip because our tent was getting old, and we had experienced some zipper issues before. They turned out to be a total life saver when our tent’s zipper split in the middle of the night! While they were a little finicky to attach, once we got them on, the zipper was more secure than ever. We will definitely keep these on hand for every camping trip from now on. A must-have for anyone with older gear.

I bought the FixNZip multi-size pack because I needed to repair the zipper on a leather jacket in which I had the liner replaced. The furrier said that they would have to replace the entire zipper, which would have nearly doubled the cost (over $200, and I provided the material). Since only the slider was broken, I decided to try to find a way to repair it myself. I found the FixNZip on Amazon, and it seemed to be the best choice. I was disappointed to find that I could not get it to work, even after downloading the instructions AND watching the video. I started to pack it up for return, when I read a note affixed to the package asking that I contact them first before returning. I decided to give them a chance. I called the customer service number and left a message. Ray, the owner, got back to me in less than 15 minutes. At his request, I sent him some photos of the zipper. While I waited, I tried to install it once again, trying both the medium and large size. I got the large to work, but only the upper part of the zipper closed while the lower did not. Ray sent me a text suggesting that it needed lubrication, and included a list of recommendations. I tried candle wax, and after fiddling with the thumbscrew, I got it to work. His suggestion never would have occurred to me. I am very happy with a "new" zipper on my newly restored 25-year-old jacket. It is a little rough-working at first, but it seems to have smoothed out with use. I am sure the candle wax has been a factor. While the thumbscrew makes it a little bulkier than I would like, I appreciate having the ability to adjust the tension, something I will be doing a lot of in the near term. My only concern is that the zipper tab is not as robust as the original. Time will tell how durable it really is. Overall, I would recommend this product. And, please, take advantage of their customer service.
