I use to have to refill their water bowl (they used to insist on only drinking out of one small one) almost every hour. This fountain has allowed me to fill once a day and keep them filled with water. The one down side that I have encountered twice in the 6 months Ive owned this is the fact that sometimes the red light will blink and no water will come out even with brand new batteries. After a few google searches, I had to disassemble the motorized filter and clean it.
