This thing sucks!
Very happy with this purchase. On low you can forget it’s on sound wise, air flow it’s apparent. On high it can turn over the air in our house ~2000 soft, 1 story in about 20 minutes. Remote is slightly dated, but does the job. Keeps you from having to run wiring. Update 5/2021- had small issue with remote not seeming to work right. Sent an email on a Saturday night, received a phone call on Sunday and follow up from Tech support on Monday. Sent me remote and received within a few days. Customer service is top notch!

Installation need more then suggested in the manual.
Item is great, however in order to lift the motor (heavy), you should have a least three persons, one to get it off the ground, one on a ladder and one in the ceiling area to receive the motor. Not so heavy but with the duct attached it is very difficult for two people to handle. Also, good idea to duck tape the lose wires to the motor so they do no get in the way when passing it up to the man in the ceiling. From there all is easy and work real quite.

I know the price is higher then the fans that’s it on the ceiling it looks small but the fan kicks ass, I have a 2100 square-foot house I only keep it on low hi it’s a little loud but low does the job I do recommend this product

great unit
love the 2 speed remote, I use low speed every am to pull in morning cool air.its just the correct size for my 2400 sq ft house.I took the time to frame out the main box, around the cut hole, as this helps to have studs to screw the trim cover in with. also was able to just plug it into the service outlet I have in the attic for my furnace.

easy to install works great
This unit was very easy to install. Does the job cooling the house. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Disappointed
A friend of mine has the same identical fan and for some reason his is much more powerful. Not sure what came in the box but I know what I paid for. Also the controller is a bit difficult to use but the support team for the controller is great

Easy install, good so far, love the wireless remote
Easy to install, no framing needed, about 1/2 the noise of the traditional whole house fan. Installed on the 2nd floor of a 2200 sq ft house. Works well. Love the wireless two speed remote. Only complaint is that the remote receiver box is not the one pictured in the instructions and does not have provisions for mounting it to anything. Ended up strapping it to a truss with some of the nylon duct strap material.
