Worthwhile, a Very Pleasant Surprise In Game Based EUs
I didn't know what to expect when I first bought this since other videogame EUs such as Warcraft have really gone down hill lately. It was only about four dollars though so I made the plunge. I'm glad I did. The comic kept the hunter's identity ambiguous and mysterious as it is in-game, the mood and overall aesthetic of Bloodborne is alive and well in a setting that is so clearly Yharnam that even without canon characters you would recognize it. Djura fans will be excited to see his cameo and learn just a small bit more about his Powder Keg Hunters and even Old Yharnam's other best known resident. Worth a read, worth the money. I'm excited to keep up with this series.

Bloodborne comes to the comics and Its GREAT!! THE MORE YOU KNOW
The introduction was like the beginning of the game and its story structure was concrete with a narrative to tell its something that Bloodborne the game lacked but makes up a tone with the Lore simple and yet Complex, leaving the knot untied to interpretation at the end but craving for more to know about it ,to get "insight" without doubts one could say. The first issue is a treat for a anyone that finished the Bloodborne game and knows its lore.Greatly recommended to buy if you like a new perspective on the genre with issue 2 already out both make a great pair.

Great for bloodborne fans!
Played Bloodborne the day it came out and been waiting for this! It did not disappoint. However, I do think it could be a bit alienating for people who haven't played the game. If you have though, I think you'll really like it. I really enjoyed it and can't wait for more for the comics on the expand further on the universe. Great art style too.

Fair Enough
I get it, it's material people are still hungry for, but something about the actual story seems like too much fan service without a deeper appreciation for the actual source material. "Seek paleblood to transcend the hunt" is about as surface level understanding of the plot as we can imagine in the context of the game and it's this that the entire series seems based around with little to no subtlety. The lore surrounding the game and it's world feels deeply rooted and nuanced. I'd like to see more interesting takes on it's characters with this series so I'm keeping my interest piqued. The art is solid and has a good appreciation for it's source material which I'm most happy about, a few frames we're spectacular.

Great Art Captures Bloodborne
The art of these comics capture Bloodborne better than I think the Dark Souls comics captured Dark Souls. Worth reading. At first, I didn't like the story as much because I thought they misinterpreted things from the game, but the more I read, the more I respected the research they put into the story from Bloodborne. They layer the plot with mystery and after issue 1, things aren't as they first seem to be.

It's Bloodborne, and it's gorgeous!
Drawing from characters, world, and lore, this comic sets up a story of a nameless Hunter who searches for the Pale Blood to transcend the hunt. Each panel is beautifully colored, detailed, and expressive. This is a must for Bloodborne fans. This could also be an interesting read for those unfamiliar with Bloodborne.

Much better than the awful dark souls comics
Much better than the awful dark souls comics. Decent art and a decent story. A masterpiece by no means, but an entertaining read.

This is bloodborne
This initial issue captures the essence and mystery of the game while leaving you hungry to see what direction they go with the story. The art is top notch and evokes the vivid "nightmare" of the hunt. Can't wait for the next issue!

Decent
A bit short for my liking but really nice visuals that really capture the classic aesthetics of Bloodborne while still being somewhat original.
