Edward II Revised (New Mermaids)

This is a great edition of Edward II. I assigned it for an undergrad level seminar, and the students have really gotten a lot out of the book. The introduction has a lot of detailed information about the play and its reception, particularly in terms of queer studies, but the intro is only 20-30 pages, so it is not insurmountable. The footnotes are clear and thorough, and I think explain the majority of what undergrads might need to understand the text. It is certainly a high enough level of scholarship for graduate or professional use as well.
