Yes it is collapsible, but just lay the thing down! It does not work well if you put it on a gas golf cart and it will eventually slide down the clubs after a while though. I suppose you could put a bungee cord around it if you are forced to ride a cart. I can be rough with my equipment sometimes, and this little bag has taken a pretty good beating the last couple of days with no visible damage! I usually pull a club and then just let the bag fall. Very good purchase in my opinion, and you can't beat the price. Review: Leave the big bag at home! - Finally, I don't have to use that Bag Boy push cart anymore for a casual game! Don't get me wrong, I love the Bag Boy, but the hassle of bringing it in my trunk and the bag, not to mention the cleaning required after using it, just is not worth it. I decided to try this and just bring 1/2 my set. I put my 5 hybrid, 5 Iron, 7, 9, PW, SW and Putter. Just 7 clubs. I am thinking for the par 5s, I would use my 5 hybrid to drive off the tee, then use it again to get close. Then depending on how far I am, I will use the other clubs to get on in 3-4 then 2 putt. Well, it did not work out so well. I ended up hitting a 95. Since my 5 hybrid was so short, I could not cross the ravine and it landed in the water. I might have even accidentally hit a turtle that was sun bathing. Oh well. Although I had a few horrific holes, this bag was great! It was very comfortable to carry and my shoulder did not get sore. Not for competition obviously, but excellent for playing a nice(frustrating) round of golf. I actually tried to fit all my clubs in this bag, and it did fit. But it is not meant to carry that many clubs. The more clubs you put in the bag, the more difficult it will be to remove clubs. Sunday bags are for Driving ranges or for playing with a reduced number of clubs. This is not meant to carry all your clubs. It is a SUNDAY BAG, as long as you understand that, you will not be disappointed with this. If you intend to carry all your clubs, use a full sized bag. This would be excellent for Junior golfers or for playing Par 3 courses. If have a large suitcase and I think it might fit. **Q: How long is the bag?** A: 33". Worked really well for a travel bag because it doesn't take up a lot of room, but handles everything you need for golfing. **Q: Do you think I can jerry-rig the bag to a golf cart?** A: This bag only can take a few clubs and a couple of balls. It is so easy to carry that you would not want to use a cart. I would take my regular bag if I were going to pull a cart and have access to a full set of clubs and everything else I have in my regular golf bag. I only use the "Sunday Bag" when I go out to play a few holes for practice at dusk. I will move the ball to a place that matches the distance for the clubs I carry on that day or practice hitting different shots with my clubs that I normally would not try- like a lower trajectory wedge that may travel lower and farther than my traditional wedge into a wind. We used it for a Scotland trip where two of us shared a set of clubs. We packed the clubs in a hard travel bag and put this Sunday Bag in a suitcase. The bag is ok for 7 or 8 clubs. More would fit, but it wouldn't be very handy. The bag could use at least one large pocket that would hold a rain jacket or windbreaker. As it is the two small pockets will hold balls, tees, and a glove, and that about it. It is light to carry, but has balance issues. I had to watch for clubs sliding out.
