Review: Very Handy and Surprisingly Effective - I purchased this on a whim as I was restocking some hardware and glue and it came up with great reviews. When it first arrived I thought I would just try it out to see how it worked -- since it is supposed to re-useable it wouldn't be a waste and if it didn't really work as well as everyone said then I could return it. It was VERY easy to use. I put 1 cup of water in the microwave for 1 minute and my digital thermometer read almost exactly 140 degrees (I have tried it since at even higher temps and it still works great -- just test the water temp before plunging your hand in!). Once hot I dumped in 2 tablespoons of the little beads waited 2 minutes then picked up the rubbery lump right out of the water and started forming it. It was very moldable (and fun) and set up hard and strong in about 3 minutes. But that was just testing it out... The "Very Handy and Surprisingly Effective" part came later when my wife asked me to fix her toilet? The plastic nut that holds the handle had cracked and while the company graciously said they would ship a new one for free, they also said it will take several weeks. Several weeks without a flushable toilet in the Master Bedroom isn't an option so, I heated up a cup of water and dropped in about a table spoon of InstaMorph. Even 1 tablespoon was more than I needed, but one of the great parts about this stuff is you just put the unused stuff back - no waste. After 2 minutes in the warm water I took it out and formed it into something like a gummy worm, about as thick as a straw and 2 inches long then simply wrapped it around the threads and squished and formed it a bit to make sure it got in deep. A couple of minutes later it was HARD PLASTIC and holding on very tight. I used pliers to un-screw it and looked in amazement at this perfectly formed replacement nut (I could easily have used a crescent wrench to make flat parts for tightening too). Looking at it installed I realized I probably won't even need to put the replacement nut on when it comes. I will try to use that moment as a reminder to come back and update this, but know that if I haven't updated this yet, then it is probably still working. Clean up... none. No mess or fuss, just dump the water (it is all non-toxic) and put any leftover bits away to reheat and reuse later. I did decide to form them into several long strands instead of one big lump, though, just because they will heat up faster and it seems like a useful shape to start with. Net conclusion is that I'm really impressed with this stuff and recommend that everyone have a little bit around for quick fixes.
Review: The worst molding material - I bought this item thinking that I will be able to easily mold things or remold (as advertised ) but it appeared to be uneasy in molding and after the first boiling process, the substance becomes very sold even with reboiling!! Don’t recommend it.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: There are so many questions about teeth here. But what happens when you drink hot coffee or tea?**
A: Do you mean after you already have it in your mouth? If so, the instamorph tooth i have in my mouth has less of a reaction to coffee, tea, and colored foods than my real teeth do. Obviously handmade teeth that are fitted and colored individually for and by the user are going to create a huge difference with how well they work. As long as you're willing to put a little effort and time into it, there is not that big of a learning curve. It's easy to use and create a working tooth and extreamly cheap.I use coffee instead of water to color beads because they are really white. if your question refers the heat from drinking the coffee the answer is again no. In order for the become pliable has to be in water that is around 140° for about 30 seconds. hotter than anything you want having your mouth for 30 seconds.

**Q: How would i make dentures i have alot of teeth missing, cracked don't have insurance. Do they sell a mold or template to form? Am completely lost**
A: The InstaMorph moldable plastic can be shaped and molded like silly putty when melted. For cracked, broken, or decayed teeth you can mold the plastic to fit up to the top of the tooth, up to the gum area, press and shape, let it set as the plastic gets hard and conforms to the shape you created, leave in for approximately 30 minutes, that will allow the mold to dry. Then you pull it off and reattach when needed or you can just leave it in everyday until bedtime. Once the InstaMorph melts, you have to create the tooth quickly because it hardens fast. If you have just a little piece of a tooth you can use that to attach a plastic tooth. You need something to attach it to. I use a tooth pick to help create spaces between the teeth. It will take a few tries the first few times until you feel comfortable going through the process, after that it's easy. No one can tell the difference. If the tooth molded tooth has rough edges you can file the sharp edges down or cut them off with a small pair of scissors. You can put them in a black cup of coffee or tea for 30-40 min to get a natural color. As the plastic hardens it gets thick, so you only need to melt about 6 to 9 beads at a time per tooth. Good luck.

**Q: Does this have similar use as Sugru?**
A: Aside from it being hard plastic and not rubber as stated, it also does not have adhesive properties. Sugru sticks to almost anything. This stuff only sticks to itself. You can mold it around things to make it hold, or if it gets a good enough grip by getting into crevices.

**Q: How do you apply it, if you have a missing teeth?**
A: After you put it in hot water it becomes moldable. You quickly mold it and put it against your other teeth to where it adheres some what between them ( your teeth you have). Let it dry. And then you can shave down or cut it to better look like a tooth. Hope that helps. Be careful you cld swallow it so try not to make it too big. You are basically making you own "flipper" as dentist would call it.
