Brilliant putting aid, well done.
Just got in mail. I checked it for accuracy down at least 100 feet of a tile floor, where the tile comes up and is the baseboard, this laser is dead on straight. This thing not only will tell you about your aim, but since you can putt balls with it on the putter, it will tell you if your stroke is straight. This is perfect for indoors on a carpet where you are gonna get pretty much a true straight role.

A Hyped-Up Toy!
I'm not sure what the other reviewers were talking about. Maybe they are the owners of the product, promoting their own. But this is a toy at best, and a waste of your good money. Buyer beware...Please be advised. This plastic toy is hard to align & attach, and for that matter the adhesive tabs don't adhere. A $10 item at best!

It does what it is supposed to.
I practice putting all winter long inside on a putting mat that is flat and straight. If I miss a putt, it is because I didn't hit it to where I was aiming, i.e a bad stroke, or I was not aiming where I thought I was aiming. This device is intended to help you figure this out. It is not intended for use outside in bright sun light. It has two modes: A line mode, and a singe dot mode. The line mode only worked so so. It uses a plastic lens that generated a somewhat fuzzy line. I found the dot mode much more useful. Using a wall as a backstop, with a target at the base of the wall, I aim my putter at the target. I then turn on the laser, and see where I am actually aiming. I do this at various distances. Interestingly enough, I found that at fifteen to twenty feet, my aim was pretty good. At 10 feet, my aim was consistently off to the left by an inch or two. This was consistent with how I was missing a lot of my shorter putts . Now I know why I was missing those putts. Set up was easy, and I was able to confirm that the laser is in fact dead on with the aiming lines on my putter. I would recommend this device to anyone who is uncertain of their aiming ability.

More like a cheap toy
This feels really cheap honestly. The little plastic cover thing does not attach well and there is only 1 adhesive to use this 1 time.

Back to Basics!
I have been an avid golfer for 30 years and have played competively through university (and occasionally since). I have always believed, as any professional will tell you, that having good fundamentals is the key to a swing or, in the case of a putter, stroke that repeats under pressure. I really like this product because it gets back to basics and, more specifically, because:1. It shows you accurately where you are aimed and does not require any calibration on your part - unlike some similar products that attach to the shaft. This is pretty important, as any golfer that has lost confidence in their putting can attest. If you do not have confidence that in your aim, the chance of putting a good stroke on the ball is slim.2. It works with nearly any putter. And, more importantly, it works with your own putter.3. It does not obscure your view of the putter head. That means that, when you take it off, as unfortunately you are obligated to do on the course, your visual image of the putter head is less affected.4. It shows how much forward press you have on the putter. I was amazed to find out that I had none at all, which I have since corrected.5. It is light-weight. Putting is a "feel" exercise. Thus, I worry about anything that changes the swing weight of my putter. This makes no noticeable difference. My putter feels the same with or without the unit attached.6. If you practice short, straight putts with it, you will know if your stroke sends the ball where the putter is aimed. It was a real eye-opener to me to find that I set up with my putter aimed right and then closed the face during the stroke. In fact it was scary. However, after using the Laser Putting Alignment System, I have been able to groove a stroke (remarkably quickly given how long I used my other one) that is much simpler and more effective.7. One of the problems I have always had was that I want to see the ball go in the hole. You always hear on TV that so and so peeked and so missed the putt. However, without "objectively" knowing where you are aimed, it is hard to see how that affects your putt. Using the Laser Putting Alignment System I was able to aim at something and, leaving everything else constant, then peek at it, noting the movement in the putter head. Very interesting. This is not a perfect product. It would be great if it were smaller, wireless and if the laser beam were more visible outside (I put a black headcover behind the hole to help). However, it is definitely the best of its breed and, at around $50, very good value. I recommend it to anyone, of any age and ability level, seriously interested in improving their putting.

Take guess work out of your aim in seconds!
The laser device clearly and immediately identifies misalignment which leads to making unwelcome compensations with your stroke (not good!).Confidence on the greens knowing you’re aiming on the line you’ve chosen - so only have to focus on green reading and pace

Poor customer service
The product was too cumbersome and my husband, who never returns anything, wanted it returned as it was impossible to use. I returned this item in person and had to involve Amazons assistance to receive a refund a month later. I will not purchase from this seller in the future.
