Fantastic for 10 & under
This was purchased for our 5 year old. The graphics are just what you would expect from the cartoonish view of the now cartoon on cable. He adores it very much. His sister's have taking a liken to it as well. Worth the purchase for the little ninjas turtle fan in your life. Not enough graphics or challenging tasks for older kids. Our 17 & 14 year old boys finds it cute & give the younger ones tips but not enough to apply free time playing it themselves.

Turtles action fighting game
Really easy game for kids experienced with games. Yes, a game for kids, but don't expect it to be mellow, is violent. Those are ninja mutant turtles fighting evil mutant aliens to save the city. So get the game or don't get it at all. There is online a company that will send you games for a monthly fee, so you can play all you want, or test a game before you buy it for your kids. Cheers.

He needed help from his dad to play but after shown what to do he has had great fun playing since
It just came in yesterday for my 5 year old son. He needed help from his dad to play but after shown what to do he has had great fun playing since. Game in great shape and delivered during window order details said. Great game for any ninja turtle fans. reminds me a lot of his turtle app game.

TMNT is a game that's clearly aimed at kids. If you're a fan of the original Turtles, you may want to skip this one...
First of all, this is a kid's game. The game is definitely aimed at kids that watch the "new" Turtles television show, and not the classic series. If you're an adult and you're looking for old school, Turtles, then, move on. And, if you do, you'll be better off playing the first TMNT released on the Xbox 360. You should steer clear of the newest Turtles XBLA title (which is horrible and nearly unplayable).Okay, back to this game; Albeit repetitive, I really enjoyed playing through the entire story mode, time challenges, and the "arena" mode. Your younger kids will love this game. There's quite a bit to do, and the best thing about it is that you can team up with your friends to play through the entire story mode. Parents, Grandparents, Aunts, and Uncles, if you have a youngster that's a fan of the new Turtles, then, they will no doubt enjoy this one. If they're hardcore gamers and are more into Call of Duty, then you may want to pass on this one. It probably won't keep their attention very long.If you're an achievement hunter, then this game is for you. You should be able to get 1000/1000 GS in one day. The difficulty is really easy and the game isn't too long.

... grew up with them so I thought it looked fun. He LOVES this game
My son is 8 and has never shown any interest in TMNT but I grew up with them so I thought it looked fun. He LOVES this game. Him and my husband beg to play this game every night. They wait for me to go to bed and stay up all hours playing together. Totally satisfied with this game, even more than expected.

Absolutely Atrocious game - do not bother
This game is absolutely junk. It's pretty clear that they rushed this to market just to cash in. There must have skipped user testing because the mechanics of the game are terrible. I bought this primarily because of the 4 player option and I wanted to relive the old Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles arcade game with my 3 kids. If that is your thought too, you will be severely disappointed as a 15 year old game is far superior and much more fun to play than this game. The sound and graphics are obviously sub-par, but it's really the playability and fun factor. There is no playability or fun factor to this game. I'm back on the hunt for a decent 4 player co-op game.

not the best TMNT game, but i moderately enjoy it for what it is.
while i can't say this is the worst TMNT game i've ever played i definitely cannot say it's the best either, and i've played a LOT of them.having endured both good and bad with past TMNT games, from the frustratingly hard ending of the 8bit Nintendo TMNT to the frantic quarter eating of the Arcade Original.and honestly i actually enjoy this game MUCH more than i did the TMNT games based off the 2K3 TMNT series.this new game (while is some fun) presents quite a lot of flaws!from very unpolished graphics, bad scripting, and some very noticeable audio issues this game screams low budget cash grab of a popular license!the intro was taken right from the cartoon itself. cut scenes have a close up of each character as they read out dialog to poorly lip-synched audio.sometime the voice recordings of the actors get badly distorted.most of the TV show cast reprise their rolls of the Turtle's but noticeably absent is Jason Biggs/Leonardo.while it's nice to hear Sean Astin, Greg Cipes and Rob Paulson do their voice acting the dialog just isn't very exciting and feels very sterile.one of the nice things about the game is (though not very deep) it does play reminiscent of the classic arcade games to some extent.it plays like a 3D side scroller for the most part.a grab feature included allows you to throw enemies.you can throw them into dumpsters and other on screen objects (and if aimed properly) allows you to throw enemies into the screen like they did in 'Turtles in Time' and see them slide down your TV screen as if it were a window (complete with a VERY comical window smear sound!)the basic button controls aren't the most exciting, and do stick and are non-responsive at times.but upgrades can be purchased with points earned that lend to some moderate replay.also thankfully you can replay completed levels via the map to stock up on points to purchase upgrades.unlocking new moves does improve the gameplay making it more playable.when playing single player you can switch in-between turtles on the fly, though there does seem to be issues switching between characters if they happen to walk off screen.this brings me to my next point, your A.I. co-player's are beyond dumb!there are times they just stand there getting hit by enemies, and the foes you face are sometimes not much better.hardcore Turtle fans may appreciate this game just for a TMNT fix but it honestly doesn't really even feel worth the $40 price-tag.being a hardcore Turtle fanatic that i am i HAD to try it but immediately i can tell that it's definitely geared toward very very young children.as much as i love the new Nickelodeon cartoon series, i thought the game would at least capture the experience of watching one of the episodes but it doesn't.this game was touted that it'd bridge the story gap between season's 1 and 2. but the cut scenes are pretty lifeless and add nothing to the story.reading the IDW Comics Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles New Animated Adventures #1 (Regular Cover, Chosen Randomly) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: New Animated Adventures Volume 1 captures the heart of the new TV series and does a much better job of expanding the world of the Nickelodeon Turtles series.though i really wish this game had a bit more involved gameplay as TMNT 'Out of the Shadows' did, this still is mildly entertaining, colorful and does capture some of the Turtle's fun moments.this game for me is at least a 3.5 and as i said before i'll just enjoy it for what it is.i'll play it, i'll beat it, and unlock a bunch of easy Xbox 360 achievements...maybe play it again if i feel like it?who am i kidding? i'm a hopeless Turtle fanatic! of corse i play it again! :P******** ADDITIONAL NOTES ********having beaten the game, unlocked all the upgrades for each character, cleared all the time attack levels, found every secret, and unlocked 100% achievementsi even found a mini-game you can unlock when all the secrets in each level are found. you get to play the arcade machine the Turtles keep in their lair.(it's pretty much a knock-off of 'Defender' by Midway, but much more simplified)i'm really glad i bought this game and still play it every now and again.

My son loves it!
My son is three and loves his turtles. This was supposed to be a Christmas gift but his father insisted they play it and they haven't stopped playing it for two days. This game is perfect for younger kids and very basic fighting game which he loves. I am very happy with this purchase
