good engine, used on lawn mower

Just installed to re-power an older Snapper rear-engine rider that had an 11hp Intek Engine. Had to purchase B&S Wiring Harness #698330 to connect the new stator wire to the old connector to the battery. Not a big deal. I got it running today (with a shot of either as it was 10 degrees out), and it runs smother and quieter than the old engine -- with the same muffler I had on the old engine. I would highly recommend both the engine and the seller (whom directed me to the right engine for my application). Thanks Josh!

The motor gets 5 stars. But there’s nothing in the owner’s manual that tells anything about setting it up. I guessed on the throttle. It’s works. But there’s nothing about the electrical side. Would have been super easy for them to slip a single sheet with a wiring diagram into the box. Or just have a sticker with a QR code on the outside of the box. I’ll order a battery, solenoid, and momentary switch to get the electric start working. But it started on the first pull so I was able to mow the lawn.

Pretty straightforward to install aside from a couple of metric to US conversions. Didn’t come with oil but it takes 1.25 qts, that’s an odd amount

Good motor. Repowered my old bush hog with it. Does great. Only thing was no oil came with it as advertised but nonetheless it's a great engine

The bracket for the throttle is wrong not designed for a log splitter need cables for the choke and throttle didn't come with the bottle of oil

The engine now works great, but the customer service was exceptional. Buy with confidence from this vendor! We received the engine and it wouldn’t start after installing it. After correspondence with the vendor and an evaluation at a mechanic’s shop, we were able to determine that the engine had oil in the carburetor; most likely caused during transport. The vendor worked with us to ensure the engine was cleaned and back in operational condition without costing us anything but time by driving it to a mechanic’s shop. I would buy from this vendor without reservation. They are part of the proof that customer service is still alive and well! Thank you.
