These are sturdy, well built and much thicker than the cheap Chinese ones also sold on Amazon. I originally purchased a set here for less than half the price. They were thin, flimsy, and fittment was off. After returning those and ordering a set of These AVS guards are made in America and fit my 08 Tundra crewmax perfectly. The extra money was well spent. Installation was simple enough, just follow directions, cleaning and surface prep. Is key to getting the double sided tape to stick properly. Windows function normally and I love staying dry on a rainy day here in central Florida

Good quality great fit easy installment

I have always been very pleased with the AVS vent shades. The installation was pretty easy overall. They look great and allow me to release some of the extreme heat inside my truck during these hot summer days. I also like the in-channel version better due to not having to remove the 3M adhesive tape from the outside of the vehicle should they ever break or come loose years on down the road. A+

Just installed the vent shades on my Toyota Tundra. Installation instructions were pretty straight forward and easy to follow. Took my time but still only took about 30 minutes to install. Waiting for the 72-hour tape cure to see how they work. However I have two issues. First is the packaging. The plastic package coating was stuck to the 3M tape backing making it very hard to remove from the package without pulling the backing off. This took a lot of time and I wasn't sure if I was going to get the plastic off without damaging the 3M tape. It took more time getting the shades removed from the packaging than installing them. The other issue is the prep solvent. There is only one pad and it dried out before I got to installing the last shade. I went ahead and wipe the area down with the pad but I don't know if any of the prep got on the rubber weather stripping. Bottom line is, it was worth buying even with the two issues.

I bought these for my 2014 Toyota Tundra Crewmax and they fit perfect. It took me 5 minutes to install. This was done over a month ago and no problems with adhesion. I love that they attach on the inside verses older types that go on the outside of the windows. It's a much more sleek look to me. Would definitely buy again.

Was so excited for some smoked in-channel rain guards. But they are completely junk they're all scratched and scuffed and yes completely rough cut straight out of the mold. In order for me to make them into what they are supposed to be. I will be spending time cutting away 1/8 to 1/4 of mold peel off to get them into the correct shape. An will probably be sanding them and painting them to get rid of all the scratches and scuffing on the smoked lense. Complete utter garbage quality control i will not be doing business with AVS again. Would of been fine if they were $20 and said need heavy finishing work to yeild the product. But not a $60 item thats not even finished. Not the quality of a item i would expect to get from Amazon more of the quality expected from a Wish or No Name item from Ebay. I recommend staying away from this item and brand.
