These are individually wrapped, but we always order them and then the outside box is broken . This time they came in a ziplock , but usually they are just loose inside the packaging .We only use them to get single use a /d ointment out of the bulk containers ... but I have had more than one snap on me .

When a nurse says "butter the dressing with ____", tongue depressors are used. It's to get a decent amount of the ointment on the wound without screwing up sterility. Got just what I wanted.
