Works great with my Sony Camcorder and flip-out screen
I bought this screen shade to use with my Sony Full HD Camcorder which has a fold-out screen. I found that shooting soccer in bright daylight was causing glare on the screen making it difficult to follow the action sometimes. This screen shade helped greatly, and I can see the screen well in most conditions. I did put a rubber band around the screen shade to secure it to the screen because it was sliding off easily.

Product performed exactly as it was advertised. It is easy to apply and cuts out a lot of outside glare.

Does not fold flat, but get what you expect from JJC
Does not fold flat. soft materials- pleather and felt kind of bulky but its soft enough for me to keep it stored with my lenses. bought it for solar photography with my telescope. worked until the clouds rolled in.

I like it. Well constructed and sturdy. But it does not fold flat in case you were wondering. Fits my R5.

Just what is needed when the Sun is in the wrong place!
Sometimes when "out in the field" the Sun can really make seeing the screen on your camera difficult if not impossible to see. This screen hood, can really be a great help when your location on our planet is inconvenient because of another planet's location. This simple tool can be a great help, and no planets need to be moved, no matter how important your photo is.

Fits my t7i perfect and looks classy and works perfect, couldn't be happier with the product and service!

Could be better
The straps that hold the shade in place are too thick to allow use when the screen is in the position behind the camera so it only works when the screen is swung fully to the side. Something thin and elastic that would allow both positions would be better. This is easy to dislodge.

It must be a pretty universal fit for LCD camera screens since I use it on my Lumix S5 just fine, fits slightly loose but gets the job done as long as I don't hang my camera to the left. Light enough that I can take it on and off while the camera's on a gimbal without needing to rebalance.
