The best Bluetooth transmitter and receiver!
The product does what it says, amazing sound quality when unplugged from charger, while plugged hissing sound comes, but it is already written as warning in notes, Bluetooth connectivity range is the best thing about this. The device works with all kinds of headphones, I tested with Sony XB900N which is very hard to pair, finally had to open manual of both device and headphones to figure out proper way of pairing.. This is only required once as device pairing is kept in memory which is just amazing. Overall best product 10/10 One plus bullets wireless pair easily with no hassle. Be sure to know if your Bluetooth device is compatible with this transmitter before buying if you are going to use it as transmitter. Reciver is very good and works great with all devices.

Phoenix- Great sound.
Tested this using a Denon amp (Optical), Edifier 2.1 multimedia speakers and Marshall Major III wired headphones (aux), with Nokia 7.1 & Mi A3. Sound: Great quality, with good clarity over all frequencies. I feel the bass is slightly amped up, which isn't a bad thing. I got better sound through this than through my headphones plugged in directly into the phone's aux. Output is quite loud. Bluetooth: While Aptx and AptxHD work great, LDAC is not supported. But I doubt you will notice a difference unless you are using extremely high end equipment. Pairing is easy and connection is reliable. Range, on the other hand, is not great. It will cover an average hall, but is quite prone to interferences like walls and bookshelves. Build/Design: Looks nice, with a (literal) silver lining. But I would be careful not to drop it because it is light plastic. Lack of a clip is extremely disappointing, because I still need to use a long wire and my pockets when using headphones. The size of this device is small enough to be clipped on to the headphones or clothing, so I am surprised they didn't allow this feature. The FiiO devices have better build quality and clips, but cost twice as much for aptxHD. Other: Good packaging and detailed user manual. They have provided RCA-Aux, Aux, SPDIF and USB cables so you are good to go in whatever circumstances, without the need to buy any cables or converters. Cables are average quality, and not gold plated, AFAIK and I am using my existing gold plated Belkin cables instead. This is a great device with excellent sound and many connectivity options, but the lack of a clip to attach to headphones or clothes is severely disappointing.

Expensive but worth the price
I purchased this after my Logitech Bluetooth adapter got fried after a few years of usage. I wasn't sure if this was the best and reading some of the reviews here I made this purchase. They provide the female to male 3.5mm converter, a male to rca (red, white) cable, toslink cable and the charging cable all in the box. The build of the product and the cables are good quality. When I fired it up I was using this as a receiver and the audio is boosted, I mean it crisp and the bass and treble are spot on, so are the vocals after tuning it with an equalizer. I also tried the transmitter mode and it works perfectly.

Pairing: Fast; TX: all cool; RX: Superb analog sound output!! :-)
Just received the adapter. Tried most combinations Pairing : Pheonix Adapter to another-adapter/Phone : Quick! TX to bluetooth speakers : using AUX and SPDIF inputs : Very nice! .. nothing different compared to my older BT 4.1 adapter. RX from Pheonix Adapter : Tried only AUX-out to my Sennheiser headphones and I have to say that I am very VERY impressed with the DAC on this thing. Paired with my smartphone, the sound is wayyyy better through this Pheonix adapter than when the same headphones are directly connected to the phone. Battery : Should be good. My experience with the built in batteries on such devices is good when batt charge/discharge is taken care of properly Battery care: - use the battery, let it discharge down to 20% capacity before charging again. - don't keep the device plugged into the charger - keep installation ventilated - use a slow/low-current charger as much as possible (I use a 500mA charger)

Product is good but Made in china product, can be made in India
The device is good. No lags in sound. I use it with my Akai TV set which has firetv stick attached to it. Also, i use it with my desktop and laptop. No delays of any sort. Connection was made quickly. And hassel free. It is made in china. They should find a vendor to make it in India. Because of their manufacturing origin I am giving them 3 stars.

Unbelievable Sound Quality. Im an Audiophile and this is a High Grade Product,
I read somewhere that this was better that the Logitech Bluetooth receiver. So i took a chance and ordered it to connect it to my Denon X500 Amplifier. I also have a Marantz 1605 Amplifier.. and the Denon Amplifier always sounded like Crap (very bad compared to the Marantz amplifier when connected by cable to my Phone) so i got this Phoenix Receiver and connected it with OPTICAL cable to my Denon Amp and WOW! WTF.. it made my DENON amp sound better than the MArantz.. Pure DIGITAL high quality sound Via Optical cable to the amp.. what a difference.. this thing is AWESOME.. just trust me and buy it.. totally worth the price.. it just cant get any noticeably better at higher prices. Simply Amazing

connecting via cable does not work.
I bought this product a month ago and was able to use it only now. Bluetooth connectivity to my phone is okay but I cant connect to my TV ,home theater or even pc with the cables provided. I tried with the AV connector then with the provided USB cable and also the optical cable. There is no connection established between this device and any of the above, it just does not register. Really dissapointed. I do not have an option now to return on Amazon as its been a month. I suppose you have to take a chance buying such a product as its made in China and it may or may not work.

If you have good speakers, you should buy this
Overall, Good product. I'm using toslink to connect with a Yamaha HTR3067 and Q acoustics 3020i fronts. Made no sense to spend a fortune on a wireless transport. This comes with aptx hd and is a great alternative. The Aptx decoder makes does make a big difference in sound quality for Bluetooth streams. It's not a gimmick. They say it's almost comparable to cd quality, But to my ears, it's as good. However, you do need a good source file, reciever, speakers to tell the difference. If you have a basic speaker setup, just go for a cheap BT dongle- they are all the same. While it does have battery backup, I wouldn't use with headphones just because is its size. I wish it had a rubberised bottom so it held its place. Since it's really lightweight, even a slight nudge knocks it out of its place. However the cable connections always remain secure-no problem there. Maybe I will just tuck it behind the reciever, out of sight. I'm using it in a 25x14 ft room and connectivity is top notch within the room, But not outside the room. Overall, really happy. Let's just hope it lasts and doesn't conk off soon. Would reccomend to anyone looking to upgrade their speakers/reciever with bluetooth, without losing sound quality.
