After passing through the electric pump, the air is directed through zeolite filters, which separate the oxygen molecules from the other gases in the air. The oxygen that comes out of the filter, with a very high purity, is conveyed to the patient: after passing through a filter for the dispensing nozzle, it passes through the nasal cannula. The remaining gases naturally present in the air are expelled from the back of the device and returned to the surrounding environment. Oxygen delivery occurs with pulsed flow technology.
