LoctiteEA 3430, Universal 2 Part Epoxy Adhesive for Bonding Glass and Decorative Panels, Water-Resistant Epoxy Glue, Five-Minute Strong Adhesive for DIY Jobs, 12 x 24ml

Bought this product to re-stick the metal mounts to a glass computer desk which had debonded with age. Cleaned the surfaces with alcohol then mixed the the 2 part epoxy and did a couple of metal disks at a time as I was a little concerned with the fast cure time. Stuck five altogether and although set in a couple of hours left it for 2 days to develop full strength. Perfect repair with a solid attachment and crystal clear with no bubbles from the top appearance. I would definately recommend this to anyone facing a similiar repair challenge, just make sure to clean the surfaces really well and all should be good.

I'm a fused glass artist, and I often stick metal bails to glass jewellery. I've not found a glue that works as well as this. The key to success is to make sure both surfaces are clean (isopropyl alcohol) and let it cure in room temperature conditions. In cold garages in the UK in winter it won't be as good. I've got through several packets of it I use it so much.

The product itself is fine , but it was delivered as tubes only, without the backing package. The significance of this omission is that I had no instructions for a product I had not previously used 9 e.g. mixing time which varies between different adhesives). Not impressed .

Good product dries clear and about 5mins working time.
