Aveda Rosemary Mint Shampoo and Conditioner are a true, continuous classic that never disappoint. The fresh, invigorating rosemary mint scent has remained timeless, and the formula consistently delivers exactly what it promises. It thoroughly cleanses both hair and scalp while leaving my hair shiny, healthy, and full of body—never weighed down. I honestly don’t know why I ever bothered trying other brands, or even other Aveda shampoos and conditioners, because I always end up coming back to this one. It is hands down the best I’ve used. I sincerely hope that, unlike so many other companies, Aveda never changes the ingredients, because this formula is already perfect. I highly recommend.

I was sure I wasn't going to like Aveda's Rosemary Mint Purifying Shampoo when I saw menthol in the ingredient list. I've tried a lot of "hair growth" or "scalp-tingle" shampoos recently, and many of them irritated my scalp to the point of itching, redness, or dryness. To my surprise, this one has none of those issues for me. The formula cleanses deeply without feeling harsh or stripping, and it leaves my hair feeling light, voluminous, and soft. I actually think I've had less hair fallout in the shower on the days I use this, which isn't something I expected from a clarifying formula. It rinses clean, doesn't knot up my mid-lengths, and doesn't make my dry ends feel any drier - a rare combination. For reference, I have waist length, fine hair that's color-treated, with oily roots, tangly mid-lengths, and dry ends (the complicated hair trifecta). This shampoo works beautifully for that mix. It purifies my scalp without over-cleansing the lengths or making my hair feel rough. The scent is a natural spearmint/rosemary blend. I don't personally love the spearmint note in the shower, but it does not linger in my hair afterward, so it's a non-issue for me. Overall, this is a very effective clarifying shampoo that balances the scalp, adds shine and volume, and keeps hair feeling soft instead of stripped. If you want a gentle clarifier that doesn't irritate the scalp or dry out the ends, this is a great option from Aveda.

I have been using this shampoo since 2000. It was in a San Francisco hotel I was staying in. I used it then, and haven't stopped. Not only does it do a great job cleaning my hair, it also smells great. This size bottle lasts for months, as you don't need a lot to get good suds. Hope the company continues to make this shampoo, as I have no plans to change.

Rosemary is good for promoting hair growth and this shampoo is gentle with no harsh detergents and has a wonderful scent. Love it!

The Aveda Rosemary Mint Purifying Shampoo has become one of my favorite clarifying shampoos. The scent is incredibly refreshing—bright, herbal, and energizing without being overpowering. It leaves my scalp feeling clean and revived, and it does a great job removing buildup without stripping my hair completely dry. That said, I do need to follow up with a conditioner, as it can feel a bit too clarifying if used frequently. And like most Aveda products, the price is on the higher side. Still, the clean, lightweight result and amazing scent keep me coming back. A great choice if you want a clarifying shampoo that feels luxurious and refreshing.

This shampoo is wonderful. I typically wash my hair everyday but this shampoo has made it possible for me to go every other day. It cleans so well, has a great lather, the scent is so refreshing and it does not irritate my scalp - at all. I have a sensitive and easily irritated scalp that gets dry, itchy and flaky very easily and then my hair wants to fall out. It’s ridiculous. But this shampoo has made my hair look and feel so healthy (and shiny) in such a short amount of time. I use the matching conditioner too. For reference, I have fine (not thin), pin straight hair that is not color treated.

Aveda Rosemary Mint shampoo is the best product I have ever used for my hair. It is refreshing to the scalp and it has a slight astringent way of ridding oil on scalp, without drying out skin or hair. have used it for years and though I have tried other products, I ALWAYS return to this specific one by Aveda. If you need a strong moisturizing shampoo for your hair type, this is not the best choice, but Aveda has many choices. I now have silver hair, but it keeps it shining very well and my scalp feels really soothed after each shampoo. I Cannot express how great I find this line of Aveda!

Aromatherapy in the shower! Smells to great and leaves hair feeling clean and soft. Bought on sale as it is a bit pricey.

I ordered 250 ml of shampoo, 1L of shampoo arrived, I was pleasantly surprised why I use this shampoo, because it did not cause allergies, what I received I cannot use, as it causes allergies, and this product cannot be returned, it’s a pity.
