KorgLP380-88 - Key Digital Piano, Black

It was easy to assemble. I use to have a vertical acoustic piano and the feel of this Korg Digital piano is very similar to an authentic acoustic piano. Its sound is great, it is compact enough and it’s beautiful. I bought a stool and they look nice together. Happy with my Korg piano!

Nice sound and functions. Only thing is that it lacks some dynamic response, so pianissimo or fortissimo passages don't sound a lot different in volume, though they exhibit change in color.

I'm no expert on keyboards, but I researched and became familiar with the best brands out there, namely Roland, Kawai, Korg, Nord, Yamaha, but settled on the Korg, and am very happy with the decision. I've yet to hook up to the MIDI interface, but plan to do that soon. There are enough features on this keyboard for a novice, like me, such as the 88-keys (not necessary, but that's what I wanted), weighted keys, ability to change "voices" from piano, to organ, etc., as well as the foot pedal controls. All we needed was a bench seat, and we got that on Amazon also. Set up was easy and it looks and sounds great! Very pleased that the product reviews were all very informative and accurate to assist in our decision.

Beautiful digital piano!!! I love the sound!! It’s so real!! I graduated from music school, and I had a real piano at home. So buying this one was new for me. I was so surprised! The quality is amazing, sound is amazing and it doesn’t take much space!! So worth the money!!

I probably should have purchased the rosewood product. The black model is fine overall, but the wood is cheap stuff. Assembly was a breeze, but it would have been nice to have the assembly instruction in the front of the manual instead of in the back. I actually didn't need the assembly instructions until I got to the last three parts.The sound is terrific! Rich and beautiful and totally realistic of a fine baby grand! The demo songs are just fabulous to listen to.

Tested for 1 week will now be returning.Pros:-good look and functionality for the price for a beginner-adjustable touch settings & good touch responsiveness-pretty easy to put together-light, compact, slim-loud volumeCons:-plasticky feeling keys-speaker issues (high pitched feedback, common issue when you Google it)-control/volume issues (C2 register significantly louder than other registers, which is somewhat normal in digital pianos, but then C4 was significantly quieter than C3 or C5, which is odd. Requires a lot of extra compensating in playing)-pedal board is not very stable, easily bends/pushes backward with your foot when just pedaling normally, could see it breaking eventually)-music stand is an uncomfortable height & angle & music literally falls through the crack-no way to program your preferred settings (for example I like touch level 3 and reverb 1, but it always defaults back to 2 and 2 when turning the piano on and off or switching modes)

Very good for the price. With the volume up high, the sound tends to become slightly distorted, but is to be expected considering the fact that a built-in speaker replaces the sound board of a non-digital piano.

Very nice sound, easy to assemble, could use a little better shipping carton.
