JFJ One-Step Eyecon Mini Video Game, CD, DVD, Blu-Ray Repair Machine 110V

This thing works like a charm! I was skeptical about putting that kinda money out on something so innocent that others are just offering several pieces of different clothes and some kinda of compound gel but after using it I am really impressed; says you should use it several times before you see how really well it works but it still impressed me the first time around, but sure, it gets even easier after several sessions; disks look brand new again.

I work for a game store, which has purchased two different machines in the past for about $6,000. One looks like a computer, and the other is water based. For a game store that does a lot of repair, my boss was not happy with the effectiveness of the machines, the cost per disc, replacement supply prices, and the fact that the machines would break down pretty regularly. Therefore, he asked me to start researching other products. I came across the JFJ Eyecon mini machine here on Amazon, and contacted the manufacturer for more information. I was skeptical at first that a machine of its size and cost could stand out versus the more expensive machines in the market, but they reassured me there is a 30-day unconditional money back guarantee, so I bought it. After two weeks of continually using this machine, I conclude that this is truly an outstanding product. It is very easy to use, cost effective, and truly optimizes the meaning of simplicity, effectiveness, and savings. My boss is very pleased with this machine, and even plans to sell the other two more expensive machines on ebay, so that he can purchase additional eyecon mini machines. In addition, I would like to mention that the instructions indicate that after a few repairs, you will see the true performance of the machine, and this is true. I did notice that once I used the machine for a little bit the results were impeccable.

Machine works great, HOWEVER, it is getting hard to get the supplies. I contacted the manufacturer 2 times with no response when I could not order the supplies on their site because they were out of order, plus they were no where to be found on the popular selling sites. If you can not get the supplies, you can not use the machine!

Got this for Christmas because I have so disks that need repairing, nothing but light scratches just enough to annoy the Blu-Ray player. Tried this thing as instructed with several of the disks, finally after resurfacing 3 of them around 50 times each, they still look exactly the same minus fingerprints. Does not repair Blu-Ray disks, only cleans them. Very disappointed in this item

I wanted to post a long term review for this JFJ Eyecon One Step Mini. I've been using mine for several years now, and it still does exactly what it's supposed to do. It's been a very cost effective solution for repairing scratched CD's, DVD's, Blu-ray, and video game discs. If a disc has really deep scratches, this machine isn't going to remove them, but it's not designed to, and the manufacturer even says that. This machine will restore disc's with minor, or even some moderate scratches. There is the JFJ Easy Pro, which I also have been using for several years, and it's designed to repair heavier scratches, but that doesn't mean that this JFJ Eyecon One Step Mini isn't necessary. The Eyecon One Step Mini is designed to address lesser scratches with less cost. That means that it will cost less per disc, and the final buffing stage removes any evidence of repair. Once you know how to recognize when a disc has been repaired, it's easy to see the difference between the two different machines. I'd like to point out that, even though I own an Easy Pro, I would never get rid of my Eyecon One Step Mini. It saves me money, and time, when I just need to restore a less than severely scratched disc, all while leaving me with a disc that looks new. This machine is a great value for your money. I've been using mine for years, and it has literally paid for itself many times over.

I ordered the machine and it arrived on time. The am chine works but it ahs one big problem. You attach the disk to a holder then you close the cover which makes contact with a cleaning pad. The problem with my machine is that the cleaning pad only touches part of the disk. The pad should cover the disk at least very close to hole in the center of the disk. The machine that I got only covered approx. 1/3 of the disk. After a little haggling they decided to issue an RMA. That was over two weeks ago. I know that they received the package about 11 days ago and I have not heard from them. I am giving this machine only 1 star because of the problems with the amchine and the slow response time it seems from the vendor.

This product is night and day over the little Aleratec Disc Repair Plus I was using. It seemed to make more scratches than it repaired. The Eyecon was a good upgrade. I have been using it for a couple of weeks now. It seems to be very well built and takes care of light and medium scratches with ease. Deep scratches takes a lot of repetition however. A sanding pad would be a nice addition when ordering, but overall a very good product. I would recommend it.

The machine is great but,I have received 110V version not the 220V as I order and had to buy inverter to use it.

This thing does a decent enough job for light to medium scratch removal of CDs and DVDs, but it's not actually capable of removing any scratches from Blu Ray discs at all, even if you run it multiple times (which is very odd given that it's specifically advertised for that purpose). It does leave noticeable swirl marks. I've barely used half of the included compound over a year of light use and it died. Now it either doesn't start at all or runs poorly for a few seconds and shuts off. Hugely disappointed with the poor quality of this product.
