I used this tape ro attach sound proofing tiles. Held everything up great even on the ceiling. Not as good for heavier items or when it gets humid it can fail woth bigger things, but I think thats universal with humity and weight.

Quality seemed good. I returned because my son used another option.

I have been using this double sided tape for many years. At the moment it has two very important purposes and totally comes through. I used it to hold down my bedroom drapes to the wall so that when they are closed the light does not come through between drape and the wall. The second VERY important use is to hold the name plates onto the horses' stall doors rather than drilling holes into the door. Several of the plates have been up for two years in 90 degree temps and 12 degree temps and none have let go. I highly recommend!

Even though Comcast recommended that I purchase this item to secure an alarm sensor to a sliding door the item did not work very well. The sensor lasted less than a day before I found it on the floor.
