A goose call that brings the 'honk' to our goose themed morris team.
This takes some practise! But there are videos available to help. With practise, you can create a sound that is very much like a Canada goose. It is a great and sturdy item and functions well. I was very pleased with the Amazon price as it was cheaper than hunting sites. Honk!

Goose Call
Brilliant. Hours of fun at Slimbridge Bird Sanctuary. That'll keep the twitchers on their toes. A hoot in every sense of the word.

A good LOUD Canada goose call from Primos
The ideal tool for annoying Labrador retrievers, neighbors, and family members alike. LOUD. VERY VERY VERY LOUD. Easy to get a good honking break. Sounds like a Canadian goose, which is like any other goose but they say "Eh" at the end of each sentence, love to eat poutine, and listen to Avril LaVigne... I have been pestering others with it, uh I mean practicing, and have no doubt this shall put some Canadian geese in the freezer during the upcoming Texas and Louisiana seasons. Did I mention its LOUD? It is. VERY LOUD. So its a great gift for children of people you don't like very much, and JUST the thing to send home with the kids after visitation. In this use its an even better gift than bagpipes! Plus, if you actually hunt, it has the added benefit of putting nutritious and delicious geese in your freezer, so you don't have to count on your boss Ebenezer having a change of heart and buying you one on Christmas morning. Like all primos calls - this one is well made, sounds good, and has essentially useless directions on the back of the package. I suggest you either buy the Mastering The Art of Waterfowl Calling DVD, or you have somebody who knows how to work a goose call show you how to use this. Or you could just go down to the city park and annoy the folks there by conversing with the geese - which is actually a good idea because listening to them gets you familiar with the range of sounds in their chatter. Its a good call at a good price. I plan to buy the speckled and snow variations as well. All kidding aside, its hard to go wrong with Primos. I have a ton of their stuff....

Excellent call ...
Awesome and very easy to get convincing sounds .... this is great to help you practice the proper breathing/exhalation/"mouth feel" while calling. I went back to my reed based call after using this and found that I was much better at it because of the time I spent with this. Also called in and turned around many geese, even those that were shot at during the first pass. My kids can use it convincingly as well if that's any indication of how easy it is....

Little over priced for the quality of sound and user friendliness.
Not for beginners as advertised. Sounds ok with ALOT of practice and finesse.
