does it say how many OZ's the bean bags are?

Has anyone had a problem with the rivets breaking between the legs and the back brace? Used our game 15 times and the rivets broke

we have had ours for 3 months - all good! You might want to contact the manufacturer. Or simply go to the local hardware store, buy screws/nuts or a rivet tool. I think it would cost $1-10, and takes only a minute or two. I am very happy with the quality of the product. My only recommendation to the manufacturer would be to add a sling or backpack straps to the carry bag.

How well do these hold up if toddlers or kids under 10 tend to walk up the board as if it's a ramp or to toss the bag in the hole?

Not sure what 'mdf surface' is. Can a thin, waterproof decal or painted design work on this surface?

MDF is Medium Density Fiberboard. very similar to particle board. It is not solid wood. It is manufactured using small particles of wood (generally coarser than sawdust) mixed with adhesive and formed in to boards. It is the same material used to make cheap (big box store) furniture. It is reasonably durable but does not hold up well if it gets wet. It is not as durable as solid wood or plywood and is heavier (denser) than solid wood.
