Good speakers scar audio makes one of the best speakers for the budget category the subs pound in the door speakers these are for vocals so if you want a speaker for bass and vocals these aren't the ones for you but if you want to separate your vocals from your base these are definitely the ones you want

Edit: last night put everything together with the door panel and adjusted the eq and now the bass kicks. Wish I did this a long time ago Original: I bought this and a set of kenwoods 1666s to replace the stock front component speakers on a 2005 MINI R50, not using an amp and using stock headunit. With no EQ the stock speakers actually hits the bass really hard to my surprise but they are very old and need repairing. Comparing to stock, the kendwoods had some bass and skar had little bass but ultimately skar won out due to the clarity. The kendwoods at first sounded fine but when comparing back to back they were really muddy next to skar. The skar speaker takes a little more work because it comes with zero hardware and it has 2 large connection tabs rather than 1 big 1 small like most other speakers. The screws aren't a big deal because most of the time the provided screws are the wrong size but the large negative tab is the hassle if you're using a wiring harness. You have to swap out the smaller connection blade to the bigger 6.3mm or solder it. For the screws you'll want #8 sheet metal screws in stainless or black oxide in whatever length you need if attaching to a plastic bracket. You can go smaller to #6 if needed.

I got these on Black Friday for my 2021 Chrysler 300. They sound exponentially better than the factory speakers and were a great price.

Works great as a replacement speaker in my two stage monitors. Good clear loud sound. Not for use in home stereo speakers. I would recommend.

Well To be honest, they met my expectations; they sound great. The only downside is that they don't come with cables, so if you just want to upgrade your car's sound system, these are a great option! I'm happy with them.

The Good: The price is relatively good. The sound is good for mid bass. The Bad: There is no hardware that comes with the speakers. No screws, no screw bracket attachments, no speaker wire. It just comes with the speakers, so be prepared to provide everything else to complete the install. Luckily I had some additional hardware or else I would have made a trip to the hardware store. There is also no felt ring on the backside of the speaker Overall I give these a 3.5 star rating. I would buy them again but don't like not getting mounting hardware. PS: If you happen to be using these for a Jeep JL front speaker replacement and are using the Metra speaker pods, these DO NOT FIT. The left speaker will fit fine but the right does not. The magnet is too big. You will need speakers with much smaller magnets.

I don’t know why people dislike star audio but the quality of this speaker are great . these 8s hit the highs and the mid well but if you turn up the bass to much the speaker will make a funny noise but they are just mid range . I do recommend 👍🏼👍🏼

Pretty normal sound , it's cost in the us is 20 dollars In India 5700 . To much for the speaker Go with locally available brands like doogesound ,zipp, sweton. Are the for the price point.

These need more than 5 stars. For the price you can’t go wrong. 150w rms at full volume and crystal clear. I have 4, one in each door of my truck and my ears are ringing when I get out.
