I've been using the SUDOTACK USB Streaming Podcast PC Microphone for the past 3 weeks, and I must say, I am absolutely thrilled with its performance! As an avid podcaster, I'm always on the lookout for affordable yet high-quality microphones, and this one has exceeded my expectations. First off, the sound quality is truly excellent. I've been able to record my podcasts with 192kHz/24Bit sample rate, resulting in crystal clear audio that leaves my listeners impressed. The wide frequency response (30 Hz to 16kHz) means that my voice is captured with great fidelity, and the high-resolution audio is a real treat for the ears. The cardioid pickup pattern is a game-changer. It focuses on capturing sound sources directly in front of the microphone, significantly reducing any unwanted background noise. This has made a huge difference in the clarity and professionalism of my recordings. Setting up the SUDOTACK microphone was a breeze. This microphone is a great beginning microphone, as it is pretty cheap but does its job very well. The microphone itself sounds clear (I had to change a setting to allow it to use the 192KHZ, as it defaulted to 44KHZ) and is good at avoiding "popping" sounds thanks to the windscreen and cover. It was super simple to setup, pretty much plug-and-play, from out of the box to being used within 10 minutes. The stand is pretty solid, made mostly of metal. The clamp and arm all seem to hold together well, and the springs have not sagged in the month or so that they have suspended the mic. I wish the screws were a little better, as some (especially in the boom arm) tend to loosen after adjusting. The screw that connects the mic holder to the arm is also a screw, which is unfortunate as it hangs loose on the screw and wiggles when the arm is rotated. A ball and socket may have been better, but the screw is at least still holding.

I purchased this gear to start a podcast on a very niche topic I know entirely too much about because my friends are sick of hearing me talk about it. The functionality is everything I expected. The sound quality is excellent for a USB mic and fulfilled all expectations. It lacks flashing RGB and has a nice, long, swing arm so I can keep it out of my field of vision and not constantly be reminded of it's existence. I did not start the podcast after all, but hey maybe some day.

I ordered this Mic Kit in Oct 2019, but I didn't start using it until March 24, 2020, because I have a good Condensor Mic and I just wanted to use it as a backup if something happened to my other Condensor Mic. Well, I decided to give it a shot and I was TOTALLY surprised by the QUALITY I got for my money. It's been EXCELLENT for the recordings I've made, so far... The Mic, Mic Cover, Cord, Scissor Boom Arm Mic Stand, Shock Mount, and Pop Filter are solid... the Plug-and-Play set up is GREAT TOO! What really impressed me is that you get an entire Set for a VERY Affordable Price! I could have bought 2 kits (with some change left over) for what I paid for my other Condensor Mic on Sale! I'm an Author/Publisher and Educator, and I also do AudioBooks, Narrations, and I have to say this Mic Set is Great for anyone looking to get started with Podcasts, Audiobooks, and other Voicework. I haven't tried recording my Trumpet, Drums, Percussion Instruments, or my Singing Voice yet so I don't know for a fact how it will hold up, with them, but I'm sure it will do just fine. I'll let you know if it still makes me smile after I've used it for more than a few recordings, but I'm still ordering another Mic Set, as soon as I finish this Review because YOU CAN'T BEAT the Price for the Quality you get! Totally Satisfied for now :-)

Overall, this mic is GREAT!! It has a great size, works perfectly with my computer, just plug and play. You couldn't design an easier to use microphone! The mic is quite clear, but if you are too close to the mic, it is easy to continually peak it and lower the audio quality, but this could just be my settings!

This is a good price and it's as good as you make it exactly that extention you want for a quick busy day.

ORGINAL REVIEW: I paid for overnight delivery of this product given the glowing reviews. I installed it and Windows 10 confirmed it as good to go. I went into the Sound settings and made my adjustments. I then tried to test it with several apps and they all crashed. Then the computer crashed, rebooted and went into recovery mode! After recovery mode, I tried again and not only do my apps keep crashing, but now when I open the Sound settings they crash and won't let me edit settings for ANY microphone. I contacted customer service and they told me submit a warranty claim and then closed the chat on me without notice. I just submitted the claim and I so regret paying for overnight shipment, as the turnaround to even look at my issue is 24-48 hours. I could have just waited that long to get the item in the first place and save money. I am so frustrated with this. This is brand new! I have a MUCH cheaper microphone already that hasn't given me any grief. I say stay away from these people if I never change this review. UPDATED REVIEW: Customer service contacted me but by then I had already troubleshoot the issue myself. Let me save someone a headache. When you install this microphone, the instructions say to go make edits to the Sound options. I've attached a screenshot of said step. You can see that this microphone has a lot of options, which you will assume are all valid to be used because the claim the mic has its own chip. I chose the highest one because I wanted to test how powerful this mic is, and all it did was crash my apps, crash my laptop, and force me to do recovery mode to restart my machine. In other words, when you are changing these settings, start with the lowest setting already defaulted, and slowly try increasing one by one until you get a crash. Your computer wont support anything on or above that setting that crashes your system. I wish the options listed were only for valid functions I can use for my laptop. If you do end up crashing: 1. Unplug the mic from the USB port 2. Delete the driver from Device Manager from Sounds, and from Audio Inputs 3. Reboot your machine 4. Reinstall the mic 5. Either leave the setting as is, or try the last settings that DIDNT crash your computer. The reasons for docking two stars are the following: 1. The customer service rep who closed the chat window on me while I was reviewing the troubleshooting steps they wanted me to follow. They didn't allow me to properly end the chat and ask further questions. 2. The fact that I had troubleshoot the issue myself, as what customer service said was not the issue at all. 3. The fact that I'm not getting the full experience of the mic that I would expect from a Plug-and-Play device. Is the sound good? Absolutely. Would I buy from this brand again? Probably not.

And the USB Mic is just magnificent affordable Mic that does an amazing job as a Usb mic! I highly recommend buying it from this seller UAE Dubai Mall ! Note: amazon international delivery said i would receive it within 10-15 days, but i got it after 5 days!

sounds like an expensive mic, plug and play so it’s easy to setup, the only issues are the joints and the vice it uses to hold onto your desk, a bit flimsy and don’t hold for long periods. other than that it’s an incredible beginner mic! definitely pick it up for quality on a budget
