Best mistake I've bought!
I had originally bought this for a Memory Stick Duo I'd found in my mum's old digital camera but when it was delivered I'd realised it didn't have a slot for it. However since then I did buy a couple of microSD cards and this USB was perfect for them, it's incredibly fast and reliable. Perfect and very convenient for those who often use MicroSD cards, I found it incredibly ideal for storing pictures from my phone via a USB-C adapter and being able to put it on your keyring is perfect for those who are on the go, barely weights anything too! Is only compatible with SD and MicroSD cards.

Very helpful for modding !!
This USB adapter with an SD card reader is genuinely very useful, especially if you work with older devices or do any kind of modding. I mainly used it for PSP modding, and it made transferring files so much easier. You can quickly move ISOs, homebrew files, and other data from your computer to a memory card without needing any complicated setup. It’s plug-and-play, so there’s no software to install, and it reads SD cards reliably without random disconnects or errors. The size is compact, so it’s easy to carry around or keep with your setup. For anyone into PSP modding or just needing a simple way to transfer files between SD cards and USB devices, this is honestly really convenient and saves a lot of time

Works for some devices but not all
I ordered this in hope that it would go into my tv for my camcorder. It’s great for my laptop but that already has an SD card slot.

It works, it's cheap, it's speedy
This works, it's a card reader. I've no idea why warmth was given as an option to review but it neither gave me a fuzzy feeling of warmth nor took and already fuzzy feeling of warmth away. Ease of use - if you've got to a position in life where you have a requirement for a card reader then I'd guess you'd find it easy to use. It's a USB that you put the sd card out of your camera into so that you can plug the USB into a USB slot in your computer to download your photos. So, after the annoying suggestions of how I'm supposed to review, I'll say this. When used in my USB 3 slot my images from my Sony A7rii, which has stupidly huge file sizes, download to my computer at a great speed. I'm happy, well until my usual warmth vanished after the suggestions to review this product.

Seems to be a good quality SD card reader, that is proving to be reliable.
Came back to buy a second one, and thought I'd leave my opinion while I'm here. I have just realised this is USB 3.0, as it shows a higher writing speed (38mbs) than a near-identical USB 2.0 reader (19mbs). I want to read and write 4k video files, so USB 3.0 is important. It feels higher quality than the other ones I have, and the cards insert firmly, whether micro SD or standard SD. The best micro SD card reader I have owned, so far.

No SD Card slot then this is all you need.
If you don't have an SD Card slot on your desktop or laptop, this does the job brilliantly and takes the adapter plus the microcard or just the microcard and works as soon as you plug it in.
