I will know in a month if it works. It's expensive and I am gagging while drinking it, but if it helps my Jones fracture heal faster, it's worth it. Maybe they could offer a vanilla flavor also??

My mother-in-law shattered her femur - requiring a plate and 11 screws. She’s 86 and wasn’t healing well. I wasn’t satisfied with the “oh well she’s old” so I did some research and figured, what the hell?? Two weeks later and there is improvement in her leg (where there hadn’t been in six weeks!).

It was hard to mix in water. I had to blend it on the blender. And it taste horrible. I tried it once and I haven’t used it again it’s just sitting in my pantry.

I bought this supplement to speed up my recovery from a femoral neck stress fracture that I developed from overtraining. This product really does taste good, and if it were any cheaper, I would probably buy it even when I wasn't healing from a fracture. Sometimes I pour a shot of espresso into it or mix it in to a blueberry smoothie.However, it is hard to tell if the nutrients actually significantly aid in the healing process. But what is the worst that can happen? I lose the $158. The best? I will not have a reoccurring hip fracture. I will risk the cost. The vitamins seem to be in good forms; the calcium is not full calcium carbonate, which my doctor told me to stay away from as it is barely absorbed by the body. Calcium citrate, a better form, is hard to find and very expensive. So I was happy to see this variety of calcium included in the product. The one down side is the magnesium content is low.

My OS approved this. I have a comminuted, displaced, and depressed tibial plateau fracture with osteopenia. I'm trying to avoid surgery and so far I've been successful. In my research I've found many that have had a difficult recovery, so being proactive I ordered this. I'll update as my recovery progresses and if any difference is noted in my xrays. It doesn't taste horrible. This is, indeed, a supplement. Not a desert. If you want a milkshake go to a store and order one.

I bought this product for a 7 month old non union wrist fracture. So far I have been using it for about a week and a half. I was worried that the shake would taste horrible but have been pleasantly surprised. It is actually quite tasty. It is pricey but if it works it will be money well spent. I won't be able to verify whether it made a difference until I've taken it for awhile and see some results on my x-rays. I will most likely purchase again to give my wrist the best shot at healing. For now I will give it 5 stars based on the taste.

I bought this for my 57 year old husband, who got bucked off a horse and fractured his pelvis in two places. The Dr's told him he wouldn't be walking or putting any weight on his leg for 6-8 weeks. After 3 weeks he is walking without his walker and putting full weight on his leg. He ordered himself a cane yesterday. I totally believe in this product!! And he said it taste great! It might be a little pricey, but the results are well worth it.
