A great read for any educator who would like to understand the contemporary take on the "philosophy of education" ...hint hint if your are an educator you should :)

As a graduate student, I found this book to be helpful in understanding community of practice and situated learning theory, conceptualized by Jean Lave and Etienne Wenger and found in Chapters 14 and 15.

A great book for anyone interested in gaining an overview of current thinking from contemporary theorists. Great to have so many perspectives in one volume and in chapters which are of manageable size and fairly easy to digest.
