Good quality and always on time

I have been using scull cap for a few weeks now. I have been using it to destress and calm down before bed. I had never heard of it until recently but I quickly became intrigued! I initially bought Traditional Medicinal's Stress Ease Cinnamon tea. I loved it but did not want to keep buying the small boxes of tea for $5 since that would only last me a week or 2 at most. Since there were only 3 ingredients listed on the package (Scull cap, cinnamon, and licorice root), I decided to get some skull cap and make it myself. I cannot comment on the flavor of this scull cap since i do mix it with cinnamon and licorice but I do not think it is bitter since my tea is very drinkable and I use 1 tsp of scull cap in it. When researching which scull cap to buy I read that it was important to make sure the product included the leaves, flowers, and stems. Now from what I understand and the look of the product the Frontier brand does not contain the stems but the other brands I found were just the flowers and no leaves. I am glad that Frontier at least included the leaves! I really like scull cap and how it impacts me. I feel like it relaxes me and calms me down. I am able to sleep so well after drinking a cup of this tea. I will continue to use scull cap nightly. However, my husband felt hyper after drinking tea with scull cap in it so the effects may vary! This scull cap comes in a large bag but it is not resealable. I ended up dumping mine into a plastic bag which made me sad since light can degrade herbs faster. I wish the bag was resealable! The bag is huge though! I couldn't fit all the scull cap into 1 gallon bag! It will definitely last me a while even with nightly use! I am very happy that this scull cap is organic. This is a wonderful herb that I will continue to repurchase.

Skullcap is a great sedative-nervine herb for those who experience insomnia, anxiety, hyperactivity, agitation, and sensory overload. Skullcap sedates the nervous system and helps you calm down and relax after a long day. It has headache and migraine relieving properties as well as muscle relaxing, tension-busting benefits. Skullcap has been shown to lessen the severity or frequency of seizures in some people. It also can help improve digestion, since it's a bitter mint-family herb. This herb smells mild and slightly sweet, and tastes pleasant on its own or with other relaxing herbs. I love using it in my calming, nighttime tea blends. Skullcap tincture loses potency within a few years, and dried herb even more quickly. You can take it as a tea, tincture, capsule, fresh or freshly dried. So this dried herb honestly doesn't do much in terms of sedating me, but it may affect more sensitive people. It may possibly interact with psych meds and pain meds, and may sedate some people too much during the day. Organic is good! Buy from a reputable company such as Frontier, or grow your own. Adulterated skullcap with germander causes liver problems. I'm happy with this organic skullcap and I've used it in various herbal tea blends and in my recent herbal headache tincture.🌱
