Love this chili paste!!!

We had this spice in Peru & loved it. Found this online & bought it. It’s exactly what I remember from Peru. We add it to Alfredo sauce, season taco meat with it & add it to sour cream or ranch dressing to make sauces with it. It’s pretty versatile & we love it

I do not recommend this product. It has been water down. It’s not a paste. It’s watery product that has lost the real taste of ají amarillo. I am from Peru. Where the product comes from. I know how is supposed to taste.

The first brand of Aji Amarillo paste I tried was high in sodium, so I was very happy to find this one, which has no salt at all. The flavor is very good, but I also learned that this reduces the shelf life somewhat. Keep in the coldest part of your refrigerator to prevent spoilage.

I found this when I was learning how to make Lomo Saltado and we love it. It's not as hot as I was expecting, but has a really wonderful taste. Highly recommend

This stuff has held up very well for me. I’ve been able to make pollo a la brasa several times with it.

This product met my expectations completely. I wanted to try a Peruvian recipe that called for this ingredient and I wasn't sure if I could find it in any of my local markets. The flavor is very distinctive-it is unlike any other pepper product I have tasted (and I am a chili-head). The recipe turned out to be delicious and my family really enjoyed it. Now I will add this ingredient to some other dishes to provide a subtle, background heat.

I bought this item in February but I just opened it last night for the first time and was very concerned about what I saw on the lid and around the top of the jar. It looks like some sort of bugs and nest. When I opened jar some of it fell inside on top of the paste. Not sure what this is, but I’ve cleaned at all up and out and washed the lid. Of course it’s past my return window so I’m not sure what to do. It smells fine but I’m very concerned about what this is.
