Safety switch!
An excellent switch. Red plastic cover is NOT waterproof but is designed to prevent accidental switching on when closed. I have it on an 18V portable table saw and here it makes a fantastic safety feature. To switch on the safety cap is raised and the switch can be moved to the on position. The red cap can be hit quickly in an emergency to switch off. Can’t then be accidentally switched on without lifting the red cap. Very useful!

wanted to use in a button control box for sim
i had to modify the switch as in normal usage the led and switch pins are connected there is a small wire with a resister connected to the positive pin to make the button matrix work i had to create 2 circits one for LEDS to work and one for switch to work i opened up the switch and de soldered the resister from positive pin i then made that wire external and connected it to the led circuit positive and used the eternal side pin fir negative i then used the bottom two pins fir button matrix connection wires it now switches and led stays on happy with result

SPST safety switch for 12V accessories
This SPST switch comes with an opaque blue cover. The switch model does not have illumination. The switch cover is keyed for correct orientation and can be separated and there are two threaded rings to fasten the switch behind a panel. The spade terminals are 6.3mm in width so these work fine with normal spade connectors. The switch has a sturdy feel to it.
