Ok so the other reviews about this being overpriced are true. This thing is worth maybe $10. Alas, I was going to make my own but im getting older and didn't want to fuss with a project when it prime hunting season right now. But, other than value these actually work great on my binoculars! I have a set of Bushnell 8x42 I use (medium size pair) and it fits on them perfectly. They have a 2-13/16" center to center eye lense distance fully "opened". The eye cups are just under 1.5" diameter. I could see these being too tight on anything with a much larger distance or larger diameter eye cup. They're stretchy, but not that stretchy. You may get away with another quarter inch but probably not more without issues. My problem was I hunt a couple spots with lights behind or too the side of me, and in low light the darn glare literally makes it impossible to use optics. These fit snug to my face and block out 99% of the light! Sweet! The snap buckle works to cover the eye lenses. Can't tell you how many times rain has got in my eye cups and made using binoculars a pain especially in the heat of the moment! Who needs to have to wipe eye cups clear from rain when you only have seconds sometimes to determine if "it's a shooter" and to get on target for the shot! This should help eliminate that but you still may have to fiddle with the small buckle. But I do like these and they fixed my "equipment failure" optics glare issue!

The cover is easy to install. Block sun and wind when using binoculars. Soft on face and flexes to fit.

The shield works well. However, I clipped the flaps together to protect the eye pieces of the binos and now when unclipped, they stay folded over instead of out away from the lenses. Makes it cumbersome when bringing the bino up to the face having to push the flaps out of the way. It is annoying. Didn't think it would be a big deal until I saw a bird and couldn't get the eye pieces up to my eyes. The bird flew away before I could clear the flaps. That said, the shield does cancel the light coming in from the sides making the view much easier to see. Easy to install.

These Bino Bandits do everything they say they do. Blocking extraneous light is more relaxing and provides a better view. Folded up over the original eye cups, they fit fine inside the Zeiss pouch. Having these on your binos give you cred.

Great accessory for binoculars to block stray light. These fit my Vortex Bantams and Athlon Midas 10x50’s well. They are floppy, yes. That’s neoprene. I recommend to avoid creasing the material and pull them into shape before viewing. I have 2 of these. Neither are absolutely perfectly constructed but they are well within useable tolerances. Overall, I highly recommend these. I do wish they were cheaper, but they do improve the view enough to make them worth it IMO. Plus, they are made in the USA.

It may still do as advertised, but the material is small and flimsy. Definitely not worth the price. I will still use it, though.

This helps allot when you wear glasses

I purchased these for the recent annular eclipse for use with my Celestron EclipSmart 20x50 Porro Solar Binoculars to protect my eyes, reduce glare, and block out peripheral light. They did all of those things perfectly! Since then I've used them for both my Vortex Diamondback HD 10x42 (roof prism) birding binoculars as well as my Celestron Skymaster 25x70 astronomy binoculars and this product met my expectations for each pair and use. The cover was easy to attach and remove for each set of binoculars with various objective lens sizes, rubber eye cups, telescopic ocular lens tensioner "eye cups", entire eyepiece diopter adjustments, and ring-based diopter adjustment. The eye covers clasped with no issue around my lenses with individual eye cups and lenses with tethered cups. It took some slight adjustment for each pair of binoculars to get full cover from peripheral light below my eyes but had no difficulty doing so. I highly recommend this cover to get the most out of your binoculars, I was a bit wary at first because I couldn't find any alternatives from other brands to compare with but they wound up being the perfect product for my various uses.

I received the scope shield and it looks good. its made of thick neoprene and would certainly cover the riflescope and protect it from rain and dirt. I had to return it as I needed a bino bandit.

These made a huge improvement to using my IS binoculars. Especially good if you want to use your binoculars for astronomy, really help your eyes to adapt to the dark.

Cover perfectly and are comfortable and fold down if you need to make adjustments. I been wanting one of these for awhile now and will want another. Fit my three binoculars all have larger eye cups.
