Black Dog Bone Speed Opener

It's a good priced bone bottle opener I was hoping it had a matte finished but it's a gloss finished that's my only negative thing. I had one but I gifted it to an employee, been trying to find a similar one for over a year.

This is a great opener. Its very solid. Watch out you dont spin it around and hit yourself in the head :) Its a bit bigger then I expected it to be but thats not a problem. Its very cool looking solid black with a yellow ring.How is it at opening bottles? The first beer I opened took a few tries to get the bottle cap off. It took a few to really test it out. You sort of have to use some force and quickly open the bottle with it. Kinda hard to explain but using one quick motion works best rather then a slower one two motion I was used to with my other bottle opener (it had a bottle opener on one side and a Can puncturer on the other). All in all, it works.After opening a few bottles, the painted area where you put the bottle cap will start to chip. No biggie.If you want to put this in your pocked and go out, keep in mind that this is a bit large. It also has some weight to it. You should probably just keep it on the counter or in your drawer.

It is okay. Mine had a chip in the black finish, and lots of bubbles and blemishes in the paint, but it is sturdy and will be outdoors, so I am not upset about it. I do wish it had the serrations to remove twist-offs on the round end (Coors Light opener has this feature here on Amazon, and is magnetic) instead of the plastic ring. But I am not a bartender who may appreciate having a finger protector.I just want openers for all flavors and types of containers in my coolers for summer gatherings, so perhaps I am in the minority on wanting the twist-off tool.Good device. Won't buy again, but don't regret it. Will probably get lost long before it bends or fails to function!

This works great and it’s a good size for anyone to use easily. This one arrived with the plastic ring broke but it doesn’t affect the use at all. Arrived quickly and would recommend this if your looking for a great opener without any gimmicks.

Having been a bartender for almost a decade, I’ve gotten very particular, almost neurotic, when it comes to bottle openers. This one, without a doubt, is the best one out there. Fantastic product. You won’t be sorry.

I ordered this, first time. It came broken but I gave it the benifit of the doubt and ordered replacements , second time broken again.Not worth money! Very cheap!

This is a fantastic bottle opener. Definitely more heavy duty that your regular bottle opener. However, I'm taking off two stars since it isn't made from a metal that is magnetic. I was hoping to leave it on a magnet inside my cooler but that's not gonna happen. Who makes a flat bottle opener and doesn't make it magnetic?

Why use a pocketknife, when you can use a sword? Why use a .22, when you can use a 12-gauge? Why use a regular ol' speed opener, when you can use a Dog Bone? With its combination of heft, ergonomics, and superior business end, this thing is out of my pocket and obliterating bottle caps faster than a sizzurped-up Bieber driven Ferrari on a residential street. Please don't tend bar with anything else.
