Nice picks. small and stiff
I have a tool that allows me to make my own picks. I do not use it very much unless a friend wants a hand full of small picks, at no cost. These picks have the same issue. They are very small, a little slippery and in between a standard medium and a stiff. I ordered a pick holder from Amazon, so I think these will come in handy when I need a pick a tad bit stiffer then a standard medium.

I really like this pick
I really like this pick. It has a real musical quality to the pick attack that is smoother to my ears. Not as bright as the Nylpro and Dunlop Jazz III stiffo picks. The one thing that is REALLY noticeable with this pick is how easily they glide across the strings. I can pick faster, cleaner, and with more dynamic range with this pick than I can any other pick. I have used the black Dunlop Jazz IIIs for at least the last 12 years until I tried this one out. I like the the way this pick just as much. The pick attack sounds better for Jazz and progressive rock (to my ears) as I prefer a smoother, warmer, attack. The Jazz IIIs I prefer for Hard Rock and Metal as they have a sharper attack.

Better Than the Jazz III
I used Jazz III picks for years. I got one of these picks in a Dunlop variety pack and loved it. I am still using this bag of picks today. They are very durable. The grip is really good as well. The heat from your hand makes them stick in place, even with sweaty hands under the stage lights. They have an almost satin feel to them that I really like as well.

One of the best small pointy picks at a not-outrageous price.
Good quality material with consistent points and finish. Solid grip. Easy to hold onto and control. Two personal things make me deduct only one star. 1- I prefer a larger pick. Small pointy picks bug me. 2- I prefer a lighter color since black picks have a tendency to disappear on dark stages on top of black amplifier heads. If you're young with perfect eyesight or only play in a well lit bedroom, that won't be a problem. If you like small pointy picks and don't mind the color, then these are quality picks at a reasonable price.

Perfect pick
These picks are just great had them for a month or two now and I have to say I favor them over the dunlop jazz picks. These are a bit bigger and if are a bit thicker for that fast playing and awesome sweep picking. Although they are a bit bigger then the dunlop jazz picks this picks are after all still jazz picks and are perfect for fast playing and basically any genre. Would with out a doubt but again and highly recommend them. Especially for the usual metal player.

My favorite picks.
If you like a lot of control with you playing, these are great. Work perfect with my 7 string even with heavier gauge strings. Have been using only these picks since 2013.

What a surprise!
I've never used picks from Planet Waves before. I usually use Fender picks or the more popular picks. This was a good surprise for me to find our about this product. The size and shape of this pick is a combination between the "regular" shaped Fender pick (which is big) and a teardrop shape smaller picks. The result is something in between, it is smaller but not too small. I got the heavy ones 1.10mm because i like stiff picks and the thickness is excellent. The pick feels sturdy and wont flex. The material is also nice, it reminds me of turtex type material, which is not slippery. It is a keeper!

Been using the Dunlop 1.5 for ever and just tried this on a whim because I saw Jeff MacErlain using them and he said there great for dynamic playing! Well he’s not wrong, now my go to pick! Can play super soft then dig in and has great dynamic range! Doesn’t move in my hand at all and great for chords, lead and fast (ish) picking! Very impressed ! Looks similar to a jazz 3 but much more comfortable

Now this looks like the original pack. Even though there were only 91picks, this doesn't feel like it has been tampered with. Unlike the last pack I received. Great

The material, the size, everything is pretty good. If you're into fast picking, then Black Ice will be very useful for you. I will definitely buy this again for sure....🤘🏼
