PERMANENT ink!
If you are looking for a black ink that stays put in the most difficult condition, THIS IS THAT INK! It has great flow, minimal feathering, and is a perfect companion for a Platinum Preppy fountain pen! I buy them again and again!

Permanent and archival
Love using this ink in my Platinum Preppy. Unlike the default ink, the carbon ink is pigment-based, water resistant when dried, and archival.

Quite waterproof - Yay!
I love that I can swap out the original ink in my Preppy pen with this ink. It is totally waterproof once dry and works great for my urban sketching. It IS very, very dark black ink, trust me!

Platinum Carbon Black cartridges
I’d say this ink is water resistant for the most part, but definitely not completely waterproof like the Platinum Pigment Blue cartridges. These aren’t cheap! Over $1 per cartridge. The Pigment Blue is $7 and some change, and you get 10 of them in a box. These work well in my Perpanep (Platinum x Kokuyo aka Preppy.) They have never clogged, thanks to Platinum’s amazing slip-and-seal cap.

Beautiful, Dark Ink
Nice, rich black ink. Perfect for my Kuretake Fountain Brush Pen TAKUJO (No.8). I find that I use my pen a bit more because I like the ink, the way it flows from the pen. The cost is low enough that I can buy more than one at a time. A great refill for my pens. I also use the bottled Carbon ink in my fountain pens, so I knew the quality of the product I was buying.
